“I love the Paton Pit Stop!!! Me and my other drivers love staying here when we are in the area hauling ethanol out of Gowrie just up the road. There is always parking and its next to a cornfield so when it's nice out at night, we love to shut off the trucks and sleep in the quite without the constant noise of bigger truck stops. Yes, they close early but look at the size of the town. Can't be easy finding help or having enough business to justify the expense of staying open. If they are closed when you park and take your 10 hr break they will be open when you get up (open at 5:30am). Great food! Always spotless! And a shower room that would rival the bathroom in a lot of homes. That gals working when I stop in are always friendly.”
