“Brock at Hy-Vee Altoona needs recognition. I am an impatient doordasher. He told me 30 to 40 minutes... Due to a false fire alarm caused disruption earlier that day... Brock and team had my order ready, took less than 15 minutes. A senior with mobility issues got her groceries, on her table, complete. Thank you Brock, thank you Hy-Vee for this wonderful service you provide.... As a doordasher, I don't need huge tips.... Give me a 5 Star review.. it means more than cash.... Brock is the force behind the scenes that makes what I do possible..”
“We don't order from Casey's much anymore, but when headed home from Des Moines nothing really looked good to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by this gas station. The pizza was delicious, Ashton and his team were very friendly and helpful.”
“The remodel they did makes a lot more room. Mikey is great! Friendly fast service. I used to go to church in Altoona, I moved out of the area but stopped in and happy to see Mickey is still working hard and remembered my name !”
“Fast, professional and kindness you will find at this store. Kathy is just a lil thing and she ALWAYS greets customers with a smile. I love this store, thanks Kathy for being an amazing employee.”
“The food made fresh daily here is top notch! From Fresh sandwiches, salads, cooked chicken and Alfredo dinner( DELICIOUS). The burgers and Quesadillas are better than a lot of restaurants I've been to. Give it a shot, you'll end up full and happy.”
“Git-N-Go has been at this location for a while but this building is completely new. The inside is clean, new, and well-lit with all of the things that you would expect to be able to buy at a convenience store. They do not make any food here, but there is pre-packaged food to buy as well as coffee.”
“Thank you for making sure that you had eggs for your breakfast, pizza and bacon and cheese. It was very much appreciated. On a Saturday morning when I checked two of the Casey's in Knoxville, Iowa and one Casey's at echo valley in Des Moines and all of them are out of that stuff kudos to the kitchen manager. I appreciate it.”
“This Casey’s has the best potato cheese bites and spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever had and I’ve been to A LOT of different Casey’s. This Casey’s location is the best by far.”

“The employees are great here! I come every sunday and get donuts (I love the jelly ones!) With my dad and brother and its quick and easy. They always help us out and are really kind. Thank you!”
“Kathy was my cashier and was AMAZING! I had questions about the rewards program and she was well informed and made me feel like I was valued as a customer. I wish all stores had a Kathy!”

“We love Casey’s pizza. Don’t ever change the recipe.
I was disappointed at one store to hear that there’s no longer cream cheese in the raspberry/cream cheese flip pastries but that just saves me from consuming calories that I don’t need. The others that I love are the little braided maple pecan pastries (which I haven’t seen for a long time), and the frosted sugar cookies. If none of those are available I just don’t buy any sweets.”
“I have not gone into this Casey's yet. I have ordered online a couple times since I have moved to Altoona. They haven't messed up my order yet. I see all these reviews from a while back it seems, complaining about them messing up everyone's order or it running late. This has not been my personal experience. Granted, Doordash is who makes the delivery, not Casey's, so any lateness on delivery could be the driver's responsibility...but again, I have not had this issue.I actually came on here to post and rave about their Kings Hawaiian Brisket Sandwich I just order and demolished half of immediately! I have been searching for a good BBQ brisket sandwich for weeks now...I have been to Smokey D's, Jethro's, etc...trying to get a familiar good tasting BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich.Who'd have thought, the best tasting brisket sandwich in the greater DSM area, would be Casey's?Thank you, I now have a go to for my taste of home (Texas)!”

“This location has had some hard times with employees but anyone I've talked to that works there has been super friendly and helpful ? the struggle is real right now with people not wanting to work. Thanks for staying open in our small town ?”
