“Great place to get groceries and your meats. Love the veggie and fruits they have made to buy up and easy to use and eat for family get togethers. My mom and I always shopped here when she was alive they knew her and what she liked and always wanted. They do the same for us now. Love the employees and managers always friendly and helpful. I will shop there until I can’t. ? love this store! Great value and great customer service and care! Always welcoming to me and my service dog. He’s a small chihuahua who detects my low blood sugars but they all know us when we come in. The cashiers just love Sheldon. ? thanks for always being so kind! ? ❤️”

“Not much customer service, more of a self-service, self checkout. Have all the basics and being from Europe they do source some store brand goodies that are good and a bargain. Prices generally good, some basics like milk are unbeatable. Nice cheese selection for the midwest if you are a bit adventurous. I will go again.”

“I think some of the older ladies are snippy and snotty. I go their cuz if their outstanding produce return policy. I don’t buy freezer stuff because their freezers break down a lot and things seem freezer burnt”
“Loved the store layout, nice wide aisles, very clean and organized. This was my first Aldi experience, and I was not disappointed! I had heard about the quarter for a cart deposit, but I had forgotten about bringing your own bags, luckily had some in our car because we picked up a lot of random things! All the Aldi brand products appear to be healthier than big corp groceries, such as no artificial colors. We're so excited to come back when we can!”
“One of my favorite grocery stores in Sioux City. I will make any and every excuse to get something from here if I know they have it, rather than stop at some of the grocery chains in-town. There is so much here and I always love trying new things! My favorite is their stock of interesting fruits that you can't find anywhere else. I don't think I walk out of this place without getting some new and interesting food or ingredient that I am excited to try out.”

“Friendly neighborhood store, offers a place to grab cold drinks, fun chips, snacks and candies and even meat and produce. Stopped by for a bottle of Chamoy and Tajin to make homemade mangonadas. Lots of great authentic goodies packed in this helpful store. Gentleman at the counter was friendly and they take debit cards.Protip: the store is located on a curve, if you miss your turn (heading east) keep going and turn right at the next entrance, you can then double back to the parking lot.”
“Good stuff! I've seen over time how Sarg's Mini Mart works hard to keep this locally-owned business available & open for everyone in the community. I've always had positive interactions when I've come in here, & feel grateful for having a convenient, locally owned business available for the neighborhood. Their prices in store are decent, & I've found the people employed there to be nice, & ready to assist. I'm happy this business is here.”

“The Dollar General in Sioux City is awesome. The store is pretty organized for being such a big store. There is a ton of merchandise and took me a good 49 minutes to got up and down every isle. The staff is always polite and it looked to me as if they run the store with only one person. Crazy for such a large store.”

“Jaw drop! I called at 2:06 pm on a Sunday afternoon to have fruit plates delivered to a family who is gathering with a family member who will leave this earth soon. My phone shows a 6 minute call to work through and pay for this order. After hanging up around 2:12, I received a thank you text from my friend at 2:38. In 26 minutes the order was completed and delivered. Amazing. Thank you.”
“We arrived at your store from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We were overwhelmed by the size of your store. We needed to pick up five items for an appetizer we were planning to make for a family reunion in Marcus,IA. A young women asked if she could help us. We are two 80 year olds who must have looked bewildered. She wrote down the five items we needed and escorted us quickly throughout the store while we put the items in the cart Amazing. This would never happen in the Northeast.... ever. What a wonderful employee who went out of her way to help us. She knew where everything was in the store. She deserves a raise. Thank you Whitney.”

“I really love that I can find so many things at this store that I can't find anywhere else, the spices, dried goods, and especially the high quality medjool dates, I have found them once in awhile at some larger grocery stores and they have been getting dried out, but the ones here are just like the fresh ones, very soft and sweet, just like I used to get right from the date farms. The people there are also so friendly and helpful.”

“As a "chain" I am assured pretty much EVERY TIME that I can purchase exactly what I came for when I choose to shop at Dollar General. As there are several Dollar General stores in my town it is comforting to have that reliability. They offer a "clearance " section that does vary from DG to DG and that's nice. These days living on a budget doesn't have to mean going without. I appreciate that I can shop for all my household supplies at ANY Dollar General and 9 times out of 10 my preferred items will be in stock at their predictable price! From time-to-time the aisles can be blocked with new stock that has yet to be shelved, but that is part of the appeal of having things IN STOCK and Dollar General does not disappoint”
“Good selection, but not amazing- no packets of Piña Colada mix for example- what the heck?! The cashiers could be a little more engaging, but if you just need to run in for something, it's great- very well organized. Nice array of $1 airplane size bottles up at the front- fun to test out something new.”
