“Friendly staff. Quick checkout. Had quality size pumpkins for my last minute needs. Bought a bag of Iowa raised Roasted Dill Pickle Crickets to try for the 1st time. They actually tasted pretty good. I dont eat anything even close to that so I'd say it's worth trying them or something else that gives you a No Way feeling. I'm going to take my suggestion and try more foods I haven't tried or didnt like the 1st time and see if my tastes have changed any.”

“Been going since i was a young kid to get fresh vegables. Remember going in getting dilled green beans from the women that owned the place. Loving getting my green tomatoes here know. Fried green tomatoes. It's such a nice place, would be great for a garden party with tea and fancy summer drinks, Sandwiches made from the fresh vegables grown there. I heard it use to be like that.”

“Wow! I went in with the wife and decided to get breakfast while she got a few things. I got the Hy-5. $8. Thought average price. Sat down in their Market Grill space and waited. Nice 80s background music. I thought it was getting just a little long for the wait. Then the food came and I understood. Any other place and this would have been a lot more money. Two full plates of eggs hashbrowns sausages bacon and pancake. Pancake. The pancake was huge a full plate diameter! Fluffy tasty. Land-O-Lakes butter. I had the choice of two meats. I chose the bacon and sausage. While the sausage was good that bacon was amazing! Next time I'm going to double up on the bacon. Everything done right. Hashbrowns and bacon crispy not overcooked or limp. I had to get a to go and I can pack away a bit of food. I may have to do this more often and not wait till retirement for regular Hyvee breakfasts :)”

“Jim's has been around forever. You name it, they've got it. Specify, a massive selection of tobacco and nicotine products and a large head shop.
Over the years they've gotten a bit expensive but stop in at the right time and they'll haggle with you.”

They have Black State and plenty of others that rival NorCal, SoCal, Chicago, Oregon and other. You're paying for it, (up to $8 a can), but you only live once.”

“I accidentally left my wallet in a shopping cart today (2:00pm 9/15/24) I returned almost 4 hours later and the cashier, the same person who was working earlier in the day, had my wallet safely tucked away for me-with all the contents of my wallet still there. Thank you for your honesty, and for keeping my wallet safe!! Today was very busy and scattered for me, and it was truly the greatest relief to have the wallet returned to me. Thank you!!!”
“This pharmacy continues to be disappointing, today is the second instance they have really let my child down. Unless Al McFadden deals with the medicine, it's an aggravation. Today (Friday), I had my daughter's doctor refill a script for allergy meds earlier in the day. By 6:30 pm, I hadn't heard from Hyvee, so I called to check on the refill. She (my daughter) requires a 5 mg pill. Because the pills small size, she can swallow it. I called today to ask about the status. I was told my insurance would not pay, so the pharmacy made the decision to not pursue it any further. I don't mind paying the whole $12.72. The tech then advised I buy over the counter 10 and cut it. My daughter won't swallow a cut pill, which is WHY I have the 5 pill in place. Nobody from the pharmacy called to ask if it was okay to override my Doctor's script. On the upside, the tech I spoke with (Logan) realized I was pretty upset. I will say in the end, they got the script in the following day. Logan did warn me it might not make it until Sunday as it wasn't ordered, but I have a feeling when he realized I wanted my written script, he figured out how to get it in sooner. On a side note, if you compare over the counter allergy medicine with my $12.72 medicine - the pricing is almost identical. 2/4/24 Update - Thank you for your response, I have send a copy to the email you posted. 2/23 Al did reach out to me on Feb 5th, and he had a very logical explanation. Most people that have meds that can also be bought over the counter (in addition to having them prescribed) often choose buying it over the counter. Hyvee pharmacy doesn't have time to check with every single customer when this happens due to the general labor shortage. He is an excellent communicator, and does really care about pharmacy customers. I can get on board with their labor and time restraints, but I can tell you going forward on my account it's noted to call me in the future so I can make the decision, rather than the pharmacist on duty. I was actually in there today and picked up medicine and walked out the door without paying for it by mistake. It was also due to my labor shortage with a sick kid at home while also being sick. He didn't call the police on me, he just called for my credit card, which I felt was really decent of him.”
