“People are cared about there, they actually hire real people. They hire families/ Teens from the community instead of self check machines! They have a large selection and excellent meat / fish department! Sushi and dining available! Great bakery! And deli. I saw an employee with an umbrella rushing out into a thunderstorm to help an elderly disabled person safely get into their car with their groceries as the rain fell and hailstones started falling. It made a good impression! Keep up the good work!”
“They could have more people at the registers in the morning since it is always so busy. But other than that? Can't complain. They usually have what me and my husband are going in to get.”
“We just got a thin crust taco pizza from 870 NE. Alice’s Road Caseys and it was by far the best thin taco pizza I have ever had in my life! Thank you!!”
“This was my first time at a Maverick, and it was a great experience! At first, it was a headache because I had to switch my Kum & Go rewards over to Maverick Adventure Club which went smoothly but when I tried scanning my Maverick number, I kept getting an error. I went inside where Melissa and another staff helped by explaining that I had to pay first then scan my rewards.
Melissa was so patient and thorough in explaining everything and answering my questions! Thank you.
Lastly, there are several gas pumps, and the store is laid out in a nice way!”
“After the move from Ankeny to Urbandale, we have settled on this Hy-Vee as our usual grocer of choice. There is always a nice selection and great produce. Typically I can find everything I need on my shopping list in this one store. While I love the Waukee store, I do miss having a Starbucks inside, but it makes sense because there is a free-standing store across the street. I loved the Prairie Trail store in Ankeny because it seemed to be larger, but I could be wrong. The only thing I find disappointing is how Hy-Vee like so many other retailers seems to be pushing to the self-check lanes. How can I find a "Friendly Smile in every aisle" if I am dealing with a machine? No thanks.”

“I’d like to thank the young gentleman who was in charge of making pizzas this evening. This location was clearly short-staffed (and he was flying solo after the other individual walked out). At one point, they were behind almost three hours on pizza orders, but he remained calm and handled the situation well. Kudos to him!”
“I absolutely love the fact that all their stations have ethanol free gas and some of the stations have regular and high octane ethanol free gas. Perfect for motorcycle riders”

“Overall, a great a service station. The gas prices were on par with the going rate in Iowa, bathrooms were clean, and there's an Arby's attached to it. They have a huge selection of stuffed animals/lovies for the little ones and fountain drinks, snacks, and hot pizza.The location is nice because it less busy than the Des Moines stations. Plus, it has some green space to let the kiddos and/or pups move around a bit.”

“I had the most amazing experience with the staff at this Casey’s! We ordered 35 pizzas for the football team, and these guys had all the pizzas boxed and ready when I arrived for pick up. They even helped load my car. The four employees wore smiles, greeted me and went out of their way to make me feel like a valued customer! Paul delivered exceptional service when I called the order in too. This store is blessed to have these employees! Keep up the great work!!! Thank you Casey’s for supporting Waukee Football!”
