Justin that works in the cooking hot food area went the extra mile and ask the supervisor if he could prepare something off menu for us. He went over and beyond especially for this day and time. Great team member.”

“Great size truck parking area. The only issue I had was the parking lot full of local companies using it as a terminal. Nobody in the trucks but taking up valuable spaces. Even saw a person out taking inventory of there trucks. Wth. Hope loves is charging them rent.”

I do not know how many people they helped or prescriptions they filled but they did so with poise and compassion. Yes,, the line and wait were long but they were doing their best. It’s not their fault that they were way understaffed. I appreciate their efforts!”

“I was visiting the area over the weekend and left some prescription medication at home. The pharmacy staff member that helped me initially was polite, and then the pharmacist got me an emergency supply on the spot. I had to wait about 4 minutes! The pharmacist was super friendly. I went in there expecting them to say "Sorry, can't help," but I was pleasantly surprised. So nice of them! I would definitely patronize this location if I lived in the West Des Moines area.”

“The nice thing about Walgreens is it's a convenience store as much as a drugstore so they carry some of the items that I need sometimes from Viva paper towels, Laundry soap,to food- some groceries and typical convenience store things like chips, donuts, pop, water and ice cream. The first aid items are extensive, and they have a large health and beauty area. They also have a small household supply area and school and office area. The customer service was great. I had two different staff members who took me directly to the item I was looking for. When the line started to get long, they called someone up to the front right away. Just remember, it's about expectations is understaffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. I really try to look them in the eye when I'm checking out and tell them I appreciate the work they're doing. It's a small thing, but I think all of us can do it.
