“I've been spending money here for almost 15 years. I've seen the staff go above and beyond to help. I've bought pipe and conduit and had it cut so it would fit in my car. I've had help locating items. They keep candy bars in the cold pop fridge in the summer. I've always been well greeted and well taken care of here. Their cat is polite to customers.It is nice to have a hardware store in town and I'm looking forward to another 15 years of doing business with them. I'll be 80 by then.They carry some fishing tackle, plumbing parts, yard trash bags, nuts, bolts, screws, nails, rope, chain, caulk, yard tools, hand tools, sand, salt, paint, muck boots, wire, outlets and lots of other stuff.Their prices and hours are very reasonable.To you people that gave 1 and 2 star reviews, I don't know if we have been in the same store.”

“Was trying to rewire an old bar lamp sign, but had to convert it from the original fluorescent ballast package, to LED got everything wired back together and it lit up. Went to pull the chain switch and it blew the the breaker for my room. I took the switch to them they tested it and found it to work fine so I asked if I could bring it to them to see if may have possibly wired it back together wrong since I’ve never really tried to restore something like it before. Told me sure bring it down. They took a look and found that I had indeed messed up when redoing the wiring for the led retro fit and walked me through what I had done improperly and explained how and why the way I had done it was causing it to blow the room breaker, and helped get it working properly again after it had sat for 10 years or more in a basement. Thank you guys so much for the opportunity to learn something new here a picture of it with the lens on.

“Received a damaged product. Didn’t ask for or pay for assembly but it came assembled. Obviously a floor model. Their solution was I bring it back to get a new one (had it delivered) or wait another week as the only option for them to deliver a new one. No other options.
Update: They have made this right and have expedited a replacement and return. Solid customer service!”
“One of the employees, maybe the owner helped me find the parts and tools I needed so fast that I was able to make it into the office even earlier than I do on a normal day.I really appreciated that I can buy single washers for 10 to 15 cents a piece rather than spending $5 or $6 on a bag at a big box hardware store and getting way more than I need that I'll probably never be able to find again if I would actually need them again.”
