“A large variety of great items. However, the most important thing that I saw while at the store was how they helped people in need. It was done with dignity, tears, and hugs. Seeing this made me realize St. Vincent’s is where I will be giving my donations to.”

“My favorite antique store in the area. They have so much stuff, you'll need an entire afternoon to get a good look at everything. My favorite purchase from here is this awesome rattlesnake mug. The only downside is that a lot of their stuff is overpriced in my opinion, but you can find some things that are really worth it.”

“It’s always so busy, but the line moves fast & the customer service is great. There’s also sooo many sales. I would say some things are kind of overpriced for it to be a consignment store but i’m sure for someone else it’s a great deal! I love coming here, just hope they can bring the prices down on the really cute baby clothes!”

“There’s dock for semi truck at back of building on clark street. Go straight on 6th avenue then turn left on Clark street. Nice guys there, in/out in 40 minutes.”

“Newly discovered, this is one of the best thrifting stores! There is always something on sale outside, before you walk in. I have gotten great deals about half the time I’m there!
Once inside, the merchandising is fabulous and displays are changed out frequently. The large selection of books are categorized and clearly marked.
Pricing across the board is reasonable to low. A customer was overheard saying she scored an original Woolrich skirt and a merino wool sweater.
I asked a volunteer about what all this store funds - you know, Every Step. As it turns out, I was speaking with the woman in charge and she is passionate!, having great things to say about “her” volunteers and their skills - merchandising, displays, etc. I was offered a tour of the “back of the house”. Wow was I impressed! Organized, clean and well lit, there were volunteers at various stations, cleaning items as they come in, testing electrical, sorting seasonal items.
The check out volunteers are efficient and kind. I must have heard at least five customers tell stories as they were checking out about why they bought the items - memories - or the great find. I bet they hear stories all day. 🤭
I’ll be back!”

“My RN and aid went above and beyond. They not only made sure my mother was taken care of. They always checked in with me to make sure I was taking care of me. The calls from the Social worker and the volunteers were appreciated. When she finally took her last breath our RN was there within 10 minutes and stayed until the body was picked up. She was there when my grans came to say their final good bye. She made sure all questions were answered. Our aid was always gentle and respectful with my mother. Mommy was a very private person, but she looked forward to her visits.”

“Great thrift store! I’m here all the time! ?

Very clean and they do an excellent job curating items to sell. No junk here, treasures abound!

The friendliest staff ever. Very kind people. Thanks y’all! ?”

“I've shopped in here for years. I buy a little bit everything they sell. The ladies are always happy, and they always say hello. Some of the pricing is too high, and I think that's wrong cause management won't come down at all. Which is wrong cause they get it free. You would think they would work with people. Except she doesn't. I heard her lie to a person today who was interested in an item, and she said it was just put out. I go there a lot, and it's been there over a week. That's the only negative thing I have to say. She needs to learn to be honest and listen, when it's all given to them.”

“This is hands down the BEST Goodwill I’ve ever visited. It is very well kept, and I’ve found soooo many hidden gems. Most of the clothes here are also name brands and in excellent condition. Sis, it’s better than Plato’s here. I found brands like Nike, Under Armour, Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Altar’d State just to name a few! I was very surprised. I stopped by just to take a quick peak and was there for an hour and a half… oops HAHA. Their fitting rooms are also open. :)”

“I love stopping by The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center when I am in the area because you never know what kind of hidden treasures you might stumble upon. The clothing racks are massive and packed with options, and I managed to find a couple of vintage flannels and a great coffee mug for just a few bucks. The store is generally clean and well-lit, though it can get a little disorganized in the housewares section where items tend to get piled up. The staff at the counter were incredibly polite and working hard to process the continuous line of shoppers, making it a wonderful spot to support a good cause while hunting for bargains.”

“I have nothing but great service from this store. I like they size everything. It’s not all thrown in the rack. Also, anytime something has been price incorrectly they’ve given it to me at the correct price.”

“I have always enjoyed this thrift store-one of the reasons was the prices but I have to say i was floored the other day by the straight up increases on their pricing!! seriously disappointing that they have increased the price of everything so drastically!!”

“I hope someone there is listening because this is a big problem with your clothing. You guys use a punch gun with much thicker plastic threading than most thrift stores. That’s not a problem if you are punching it through the tag or somewhere that isn’t going to be noticeable. I can’t tell you how many items that are left with a very obvious hole because people just punch it wherever they feel like. Through the collar, back of the shirt, it’s terrible. There’s no reason if there is a hang tag you cannot punch it through there so you’re not puncturing the actual fabric and leaving a hole. I almost wish you guys would go back to stapling the tags on. At least when you removed the staple, it did not leave a noticeable hole. I’ve enclosed two photos. The first is the wrong way. Using a punch gun right through a leather collar leaving a very noticeable hole. The second photo is the way you guys need to be doing this all the time. Through the hanging tag only. On the positive – you guys have really cleaned up your stores over the past five years. Prices are quite a bit higher than most other thrift stores, but if you have the patience, you can still still find great stuff for a decent price.”
