DHL Wichita called me, told me, helped me avoid fines, opened my bag and told me what they would take out if it were them, waited for me to call my friend and confirm, did it, repacked the bag, and then kept my items at their desk for me to pick them up the following week. This is customer service from a small town in 1984, and they did it in 2024.Someone give me this guys a cake, brownie, hug, a day off to go fishing, and a new pickup truck. “One thing I did not know, you cannot use their packaging tape if you are shipping basic ground. If you are shipping priority then you can use their tape. Not blaming our post office, they are just following the rules. But heads up for anyone taking a box or envelope to ship.”
