“I have been shopping at this Natural Grocers since they opened. I go grocery shopping every week, and every employee I’ve ever interacted with has been amazing. They honestly are almost like family. And they remember me and greet me like we are old friends. It’s pretty cool to be honest.Everyone there is so happy, it’s honestly infectious. From the manager, who is an awesome guy, to the person checking us out; it’s always a good experience. I actually leave the store happier than when I went in because of the interactions I’ve had during my trip.They also carry a wide variety of products for almost any diet. “The Shawnee Hy Vee is a great place to shop. Their customer service is beyond compare. Their prepared foods are the best. The place is always clean, and there is a good selection. I have had Hy Vee bakery make me specialized cakes that no one else would. They have given me empty boxes that they prepare. I have seen how hard the employees work when they are catering. I love to visit with them. They also employ people that are challenged, but still have something to give. They cater to the elderly and disabled. I admire them for that. The employees really care!”
“I visited the store 8/21/25 oh my what a great store when I say that I bought cabbage, and veggies, and they were so fresh and the cleanest I've ever seen cabbage !! fresh not dirty crispy bell peppers and onions the same!! I got chicken there also the chicken was so fresh it was so clean just amazing then I went to the hot line and met Mailie oh! what a blessing this store has she helped me on the line explaining all the foods I tried the rice with the pork and beef and the stuffed Zucchini oh!! God whoever she has cooking in the back is Amazing!!!! Shout out to Produce department! Shout out to the meat Department and shout out to the Deli/hotline department!!!!! Thank Mrs Mailie !!!! “This location, I have found on various visits to be well managed. The aisles are uncluttered, and the food is displayed well. Overall, it appears clean by general standards.
The floral department offers wonderful arrangements that delight the eye. But if a single rose or Gerbera Daisy is all you want, they have that, too.
I enjoy the fresh bread selections. Sourdough and cranberry walnut are my favorites. The apple fritters are made from brioche bread/batter and are hands down, the best I've tasted in a long time!

Produce is always fresh/quality and the meat selection is great. Have gotten some amazing steaks and the store made chorizo is awesome. Personally prefer their blend (made from pork trimmings in store) to what you get in the mass produced pre store packaged chorizo. Better flavor”
