“I am reviewing the restaurant section on the east end of the building, not the gas station/convenience store itself. Traveling through Hoxie on our way home from Wichita, we wanted to stop for a meal at the bistro, but our timing was off - it was closed. Thinking we'd just grab a little Hot Stuff pizza, we were surprised they had an extensive menu of good sounding food - not your typical gas station fare! The woman cooking and serving was friendly and helpful, very pleasant. My husband had an excellent (and large) BBQ pulled pork sandwich on a toasted bun, with crispy seasoned french fries. I had a huge taco salad. The taco shell bowl was loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, black olives, seasoned meat, grated cheese, even thick wavy sliced cucumbers on top, and chopped green bell peppers. Salsa, sour cream, jalapenos and banana peppers too. Everything was great! We were told they've only recently started serving such a selection, and it's been a big hit. We were very glad we stopped!”
“I absolutely love this place. Every-time I go in there at night this young lady works and she just amazing young lady she greets you at the door and takes time out of her day to ask you how your day is going. You can tell she is a hard worker!!! I always recommend reds over any other place in town”
