I then had it towed to Certified Transmission where Manager, Chris, had it evaluated. He said it only needed an A shift solenoid, $1100! “My pastor recommended Christian Brothers Automotive after bringing my car to 4 different mechanics including the Kia dealership who was unwilling to diagnose beyond checking for a code (which did not show up, along with no check engine light). After weeks of no solution, hopping from one mechanic to another, and signs that my car was performing worse, I was pretty discouraged. However, from the very first phone conversation with Christian Brothers I was met with exceptional customer service, a friendly demeanor and an inquisitive interaction that made me feel as though this place actually cared about helping to find a solution to my problem. I walked in and witnessed a guest finishing up her transaction and I could tell that she was so pleased with their services. From that point on, I was convinced that I was at the right place. Both reps at the desk were friendly and created a comfortable atmosphere while I explained my car issues. The diagnostic that I received via text was so incredibly detailed and was organized by priority of repair. Not once did I feel like I was being sold something that I didn’t need. Most importantly, they found the issue! My car was finished days earlier than expected (parts had to be ordered but they arrived quickly) and so that was a pleasant surprise. Once repairs were completed and I turned the corner to drive away, I felt like I had a brand new car. I went from feeling like I was driving through sludge to flying (safely) down the street, light as a feather! And my gas mileage is back to normal. My relief and joy was palpable! I cannot recommend these guys enough. Matter of fact, a friend of mine will be dropping her car off there in the coming days. “After being rejected by several shops, I was referred to this shop from someone who recommended due to their knowledge with Ford Taurus SHO's. When I first talked to these guys and their exact words, "I am not afraid of that motor." I knew these guys were the guys I was looking for. The parts for a 1993 SHO are not readily available so these guys took the extra time and effort to help me out and extremely fair in their pricing. “New Concept is the best auto repair shop I have ever been to. I've been to shops in 3 different states and this is still the best one. They drove me from my house to the shop and then back home free of charge 3 times and even stayed late at work to accommodate me on a Friday night. My truck was in rough shape when it got there and now it runs like new! I was treated with complete respect by everyone there the whole 1.5 weeks we were in contact. They did not take advantage of me and did everything they said they would correctly the 1st time and charged me fairly. They even set me up with a beyond excellent warranty for the truck and all the work they did to make sure my dog and I had a safe trip driving across the country. This is the 3rd shop I got estimates from and I'm glad I chose them after not letting the first 2 shops work on it. “I brought my car in for a diagnostic. My vehicle was intermittently losing power and leaving me stranded. I brought it into Celso's Honest auto repair and knew immediately I was in good hands. The gentlemen checked me and in and let me know they'd keep me updated. I received a call a few hours later saying they needed more time to diagnose. They kept my car overnight and called me the next afternoon with my diagnostic. They took the time yo explain the issue and the repairs needed. They made me feel like I was family. They took care of my diagnostic fee, knowing that my car was shot. It was the kindest gesture to a struggling single mom. I will ABSOLUTELY be back for any and all car repairs in the future.
