“I had Certified Transmission check my daughter's car a year ago and turned out the transmission needed to be replaced. Not what I wanted to hear and it was expensive. Certified did a great job and earned my trust so when my 2004 GMC started giving me trouble stalling when accelerating, I brought it in reminding Chris at the counter that their commercial states if you bring it in early it could mean repair instead of replace. I love that truck and the motor is still doing fine (230,000miles+) but I still would have really struggled replacing the transmission. I was fortunate that I had a spare vehicle because I had to leave it there for over a week but they took care of the problem, replacing lines, a sensor and encoder motor plus regular transmission service. I'm not sure what a total replacement would have cost but judging from the cost of replacing my daughter's last year, I saved thousands. Let's me know these guys are honest and not trying to upsell something you don't need. Let's face it. Transmission work is expensive. You might as well go to someone who is honest and will do the job right!”
“I’m so glad I found Sailors he is so nice and exceeded my expectations! As a woman I’ve had too many men who have thought they could take advantage and jack up the prices like I don’t know anything about cars. I called several places and checked for prices on parts and labor for my breaks rotors and tires and he was below the lowest price for brakes and tie with the lowest price on new tires. I also had a belt that was dangerously worn and he filled me in but didn’t pressure me to fix it. I fixed it and the car is running better. He got me in last minute and had it fixed in less than 24 hours. ?? I’ll be back for sure.”

“Best mechanic I have ever used. I highly recommend using them. I took both my cars to get serviced and they gave me fair and reasonable quotes. They even reduced the price of one because it took less labor hours, I have never heard of a mechanic doing that. The second car had an issue, and they took the extra step of figuring out that this issue was under warranty and I could get it done for free at the dealership, instead of from them. For someone who doesn't know a lot about cars and always feels like the mechanic is trying to scam me, I truly felt they had my best intentions and were just trying to do honest work and help people with their cars.”

“My vehicle was having some mysterious interior water leaking issues when it would rain. I took it in and worked with Jose, Angel, and Hector, each of them are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They diagnosed the problem pretty quickly, explained everything to me clearly, and handled the repair in a really reasonable time frame. You can tell they know what they’re doing and take pride in their work.
Finding a shop that’s both skilled and honest hasn’t been easy for me personally, but these guys for sure exceeded my expectations of quality work! Recommend!”

“I cannot say enough good things about the team at Anders. I was in a minor car accident less than a week ago. Within hours of the accident, they had assessed the damage and were willing to take it same day to fix it. Most shops quoted me days before they would even look at it, not to mention the time I would need to wait to get the repairs done. The body work was done within days, and they also fixed a broken sway bar. To top it all off, they also cleared up my headlights that were super foggy, at no additional cost.. I’ve used Anders Automotive before, and will absolutely be back. It’s comforting to have a good auto shop in my back pocket that I know provides quality, efficient, and reasonably priced work.”
“Adam is by far the best mechanic in town. I've been going to this guy for three years now, and I am never taking my cars anywhere else.
This guy fixed my AC, a valve gasket leak, brakes, rotors and more than i'll ever know how to do. Even if it's a problem I think I can fix myself, I'll call about him and he'll tell me exactly what to look for. Thats how much of a stand-up guy Adam is.
I was going to other mechanics around Lenexa before and they were overcharging and over-fixing every time I had a problem and I can tell you Adam is nothing like that. He is honest and upfront about everything with your car and I wouldn't put my trust in anyone else's hands.
He's also got tons of stories about his life. Next time you're in there ask him about the time he fought MMA. Or the time he jumped a side-by-side off a ramp, DUKES OF HAZZARD style!”
