The process of taking them out of the box and bag itself made me feel excited to wear them.I would not recommend immediately throwing them on and doing a full day's work. Wear them them a couple hours here and there in the house to break them in. After the first full day at work I thought twice about putting them back on the next day, but by the third day they were feeling good.Tyler was very helpful. He had me size in a similar shoe (different color) and mailed the color I wanted. I ordered on Saturday and it arrived on Tuesday.”

“After having been to DelBrenna in Cortona 14 years ago, this was a MUST DO for me when my husband and I traveled through KC during the holidays, I had purchased a ring from the Cortona store and it needed a small repair. Fortunately, for us, we were able to meet Megan and Sebastian and learned that Sebastians father had made it! So special! We have so many wonderful Cortona memories, I was compelled to purchase a Cortona pendant and a beautiful signature chain. Merry Christmas to ME! I love it! Meeting Megan and Sebastian was the highlight though, we shared a story of us passing through their store 14 years ago and Megan helping us with finding Bramasole ...I still had the map she drew us! When she saw it she was so surprised! Anyway - we have made new friends and hope to meet again in Cortona! DelBrenna Jewelry is the perfect place to go for that special quality gift for someone special! Sienna, manager, is amazing and so friendly - she will take good care of you! Ciao! ”

“I have been a diehard Garry Gribble fan for 25 years. I was sad and sceptical when they changed hands but contiued to shop at the Ward Parkway location out of habit and convenience. The customer service, which had always been a cornerstone of the business, began to fluctuate. While I continued to support the business, I missed the original Garay Gribble. On Wednesday, March 20, my faith was restored. I was greeted warmly by store associate, Don Little. Don asked questions AND listened! He considered all of my concerns and proceeded to tap into his prolific knowledge of running shoes…This man knows his shoes! He also understands the issues that the full spectrum of runners can face. “Found them on a google search when I was looking to get my son get a new board. The owner is a really nice guy and built his board so he didn't have to wait till he got home to ride. Skate shop is located inside of an indoor skate park. Shop has mostly boards but they also carry some tees, hoodies, socks & shoes. They offer a (summer 2023) skate camp & Saturday skate classes. Lots of kids and a few adults skating the day I went in. Nice place, nice owner-Support Local KC Businesses!”

“If you want to fix your painful feet or avoid bad feet when you are older, you need to visit this store at Ranchmart. I worked with Gretchen Brewer and she was excellent. She assessed my walking gait and diagnosed my problem and offered solutions. My over pronation had caused a sore corn on my right foot(my fault I was wearing sketchers which have minimal arch support). Gretchen helped me try on different shoes with a performance arch support and I found a pair that were perfect. When I walked in to the store my right foot was hurting. When I walked out in my new shoes, no pain. I am still pain free in those shoes/arch support. This is the place to get great advice and great shoes(love the Altra).”

They do not take checks for those who still write checks, which is a drawback. They didn't have a lot of traffic at the time I was in there but the store is bigger so lots of people can shop at the same time.”

“If I could leave 3.5 stars, I would.. but I'll round up. The young man that helped me did a great job finding the right shoe. He was maybe a little green still, and a bit awkward in his small talk, but very friendly.The stars come off for the checkout experience.. the moment they swiveled the iPad around and asked for a TIP for selling me a pair of $145 shoes I was shocked! I hate, hate, hate being put on the spot so I hit the 10% button and ended up paying nearly an extra $15 for my new shoes. Of course he said, oh this isn't necessary, just hit whatever you want there... But then they stare at you and they know and you know.. and it just ruined the whole experience for me.”
