“Very clean and organized, and most of the staff was friendly. I would’ve given five stars, but one associate was a little rude when I asked about what time alcohol sales stop. I’m from a state where alcohol can be sold much later into the night, so I was just unfamiliar with the rules here.”

“Do you feel gross, and like you should lose weight? Do you feel like an ogre? Do you feel like you’re gross and smelly all the time? Head to your local Walmart to boost your confidence. I can almost guarantee that there’s someone fatter, smellier and just generally more gross than you are. And for that, I give it 4/5 stars”

“Staff in Junction City, Kansas very friendly and helpful, from employee stocking merchandise in the baking section, the sweet Asian lady assisting to find Wong tong wrappers, and Miss Liz in the Bakery Dept whom was as able to assist me with everything I needed and was looking for. Miss Liz took the extra step to explain the proper way to using icing tip. The seafood/deli section was very clean-Eye appealing! We usually shop in Manhattan. I will be returning to this grocer in the future.”
“Back when I was inprocessing, I would come here every day as a grocery run and get my free 5 items.Now I still come every now and again, and take the new guys in my unit. Still a great place”

“I’ve been battling CVS for months, as it’s the only pharmacy covered by my insurance. I decided to try to cash pay at Dillons pharmacy. They were so helpful! Got me discounted medicine cheaper than going through my insurance. They had medicine in stock that CVS never has in stock, and they were open the hours they said they would be open. The tech that helped was knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I could always use them!”
“Many times it states items are not in stock but they actually are. I have had many deliveries from here and besides fresh fruit, all other deliveries have been outstanding and timely. I just do not suggest using delivery for fruit.”
“I went into Dollar General today to buy plush throw blankets to go into gift bags for Veterans that the Greenleaf American Legion is giving out during the holidays this year. I had already been to 4 other Dollar Generals in 3 surrounding counties. I had bought around 4 to 5 blankets at each store however the young man that rang me up at this Dollar General had asked me what I was buying the blankets for. I told him & he was so generous in giving me a discount because it was going to American Veterans. And it just so happens to be Veterans Day today. I thanked him and I hope more people can do just a little more in their daily life to help out our Veterans. God Bless America!”

“The place is clean and there is a very good selection of items. Checkout was a pleasant experience with Lauren. My only suggestion is, as someone who was visiting town for Memorial Day weekend and does not know the store, is to somehow organize the layout a bit better. We looked for dips (for chips) and there were dips in the produce section, the chips section, the yogurt/dairy section, and then also in a section by the deli where the specialty cheeses are. It was confusing and we felt we kept running back to return the one we had picked because we found another kind. I'm wondering if there is a better way to organize all of that.”

“Skip Manhattan DG's and hit Ogden's. Right off the K-18 Ogden exit, on your left hand side as soon as u pull into town. Always friendly staff, and for my needs more convenient than the Manhattan options. I rate Dollar Generals by the area, and this is the third best, behind Riley's.then Wakefield's and a tie with Alma. JC and Manhattan DG's just don't hit like the small town ones! I think it must be because folks are genuinely happy to not have to commute to the bigger towns for work, and the ones in the bigger towns are just full of workers depressed that they couldn't get a better job, while actually living in the bigger towns....Just a hunch!!! ???”
