“Have been with the Wakarusa and 6th St branch for 8 years. Really was happy with People’s Bank, felt there was a real personal relationship with a bank. My relationship with them started with needing a mortgage and jumbo loan on our dream home that other banks were not willing to fund due to our atypical circumstances. The transition to Bank Midwest was easy for us, no complaints. We just moved to the west coast in June and Bank Midwest was pivotal in selling our home and purchasing our new home using a bridge loan. Thank you David Bennett and Brian Hatfield for making the bridge loan so smooth and convenient in our situation. When I was closing my accounts I had a sizable amount to me to transfer that I was worried about and Brian Hatfield made this transition smooth and easy. I would recommend this bank to anyone, especially if you get to work with Brian or David, they are both very professional, quick to respond, and personal in their approach. Thank you Bank of Midwest!”
“They offer solutions, not just products. I had an unusual baking need. Not just an out of the box question. My large commercial bank that I have had for 30 years said they couldn't help. The only solution they offerered was outside of their bank and would have cost me 12%. I tried a few other banks without success. Then I took the advice of my sister and my mom who have been using Truity for years. I went to the location near 6th & Kasold in Lawrence and talked to Alex. He didn't have an easy answer at his fingertips, but he worked through his manager to secure a solution that no other financial institution would try. Since then, Alex is my go to guy. His communication is timely and complete. I have also had very positive experiences with the tellers. I have found a great business associate in Truity and in Alex.”

“This five star review is for Ashley Tyler. She was incredibly welcoming, informative, and helpful when I called this US Bank location about some overdraft fees that I let hit my account accidentally, and talked me through and set me up with overdraft protection so that it wouldn’t happen again. She went above and beyond and was able to get most of my overdraft fees refunded and within 24 hours my issues were resolved and I didn’t have to struggle through trying to do anything by myself. She’s awesome!”
“If you're a small business owner Landmark National Bank is the financial institution to work with. I've been a customer since 2008 and have always experienced competent service with surprisingly good technology for such a small institution. But that's not what sets Landmark apart. During the pandemic, my business was closed for several months like so many others. However, as soon as the PPP was signed into law, Landmark reached out to us proactively to help fund our operations. Unlike so many other business owners I know, Landmark had our PPP loan funded within days. The folks at Landmark really care about helping small businesses and I cannot recommend them enough.”
