I had so much difficulty trying to find a groomer that he liked in Topeka. When Tori found out that he was food motivated and a big lover she knew just what to do. Oscar loved her his first visit and when he knew where we were going every time after that he got so excited. Tori is a definite dog person and my dogs know it. She is pleasant to talk with, she is a kind person and it shows with every dog I see her with. She takes the time to get to know each individual dog and she treats them like her own. She is very knowledgeable and extremely experienced. Her pricing is fair and she really cares. I wouldn't trust any other person with my fur babies.

2500 SW 17th St, TopekaWe cannot express the level of appreciation and satisfaction we have with the care Daphne rec’d during her recent stay at TLC. With her being a “very senior” girl, she has special needs during the very warm summer months. This particular day, even tho temps were only in the 80s, she became overheated - being a boxer and having a “smooshed face”, extra tissue around her throat, and blind, she had a hard time catching her breath and likely became dizzy and disoriented when she started outside. Two staff members were with her as she tried to go out and quickly realized she needed to be cooled down. Following some time in front of a fan and a cool bowl of water, she covered the four humans attending to her with kisses of ‘Thank You so much for helping me’. Later that night, she had her dinner, a nap and the usual bedtime ritual - as tho’ nothing out of the ordinary had happened that day. We have an enormous amount of appreciation for all that Alyysia, Star, April & Leslie did to keep our girl safe during this very stressful time. ????

4400 SW 21st St, TopekaOn Sunday, March 8, 2026, we ended up at Baskin-Robbins after another ice cream shop had incorrect hours listed on Google, and we’re glad we did. We were in town from Wichita, KS, and this wasn’t our original stop.
When we arrived there were about 20 people — adults and kids — waiting, and only three staff members working. They did a great job handling the crowd and keeping things moving. It was clearly a popular spot because people kept coming in.
I appreciate the team for serving the community well and working together under pressure. Great job.

3830 SW 29th St, TopekaScooters is the best coffee shop in town. First time I had Scooters was in Omaha and when I heard we finally were getting one I was overjoyed! Granted we have many shops now but I used to drink their coffee daily till I realized I needed to cut back financially haha but you can’t go wrong really with any drink and they are always expanding their menu and changing up different drinks and foods, I love the different flavors. Their prices are comparable to other coffee shops, their customer service is outstanding and they really try to be personable even when you are not fully awake yet and need that espresso. Overall I recommend Scooters over any other coffee shop and I have tried others but Scooters is the winner for me!

Their kitties and pitties program is a great idea to help control the population of animals, and helps with ppl like me that cant really afford a vet, but want their pit neutered. They are amazing when your in need for a lil help til payday for cat or dog food and sometimes cat litter. I could just keep going on, but im mostly thankful for my beautiful Ariel we adopted from there. We've had her now 3 years.
