“First time in to buy carpet and had a great experience. Picked a cheaper carpet for a rental earlier in the week, but once I came back in with measurements we found there wasnt enough of the style I wanted...I found another that was a bit more per sq. ft., and they were willing to adjust a little to get me closer to the original one I picked out. End result was great, even my carpet layer was impressed with the quality. Very friendly group.”

“Here's a little trouble from big China. Sure, 99% of these tools are imported directly from communist China, but at least they keep all of those children employed. These tools are inexpensive and made with inferior quality materials.If it doesn't bother you that HF products are likely made in communist slave labor camps by minors, you’re in for a treat. You get to play Russian roulette with hand tools. Best of luck!”
“Love it love the prices great or good animal feed lots of great choices at a fare price for most clothing shoes are way to over prices like outrageously overpriced even items marked down are still ridiculously high but also high quality so it's a personal choice staff is mostly younger teens 16 to early 20s I'd say they seems to have someone new each time we go and we got 2xs a month all in all it's a good place to go for animal needs I love the Ranchhound brand my dogs and birds love it wish they had cheaper meal worms and waterfowl feed but it's my store of choice for feeding my animals”

“Great staff and they have a great value on paints and other odds and ends. If you are low on Chicken poop, this is the place to come and restock. Remember what the grans always said...if you smear chicken poop on your lips, they won't be dry and you won't lick 'em. Unfortunately this chicken poop has a great original flavor so results may vary. Does do a great job healing chapped lips. Also a good spot to buy some adhesive and another bucket of paint.”
“This is a great place for anyone who is a maker of useful things. They sell metal and a miriad of miscellaneous things. It's an eccletic super store like you never seen before. I've shopped here for at least forty years! Give it a try!”
“This place is AMAZING! I walked in not knowing what I was looking for and only had a picture from my son. I asked the gentleman at the cash register and he took me right too the item. He then also offered to give me the discount price that my son had posted in the picture even though it was no longer on sale. Customer service in this place is wonderful the prices are good (compatible to what is on line or cheaper) and their return policy is excellent! They even print gift receipts!”

“Ace Hardware is always a great place to go when you're working on home projects. There's nothing wrong with this particular store, it's just a smaller storefront than some of the others nearby, and they will often be out of stock with some things that the others will have.”

“We live over an hour from the east store. I'd ordered a Maytag washer and dryer which took a week to be delivered to the store since they do not make deliveries in our area. We got to the store and notified them of our arrival, gave them the information they needed, and told them we had quite a bit of shopping to do. They told us they would bring them out front and they would be by the customer service when we were done. When we came back to get someone to help us inspect and load them for us, it took almost an hour of waiting. Way too much time. The washer had a dent in it. I did not want to wait another week and have to drive back. Fortunately, they discounted it for us. Most of the employees were very helpful.”

“Great home improvement store if you are out in the far Northwest corner of Wichita, at Maize and 37th North. Huge place with plenty of variety and fair prices. Personally, I’m not a fan of the mail-in rebate system here which is a huge part of their ad items, but there are good sales to be found that don’t require mailing anything. This location is much more accessible than the East side spot, and has a variety of other great shopping centers south of the store which can make the trip worthwhile. I’ve found good home supplies and lumber here, as well as fairly priced pet supplies and outdoor needs. Halloween yard decor is out now too which is awesome to see. I can recommend the west Mernards.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. there is so much of everything it is great just to look around. came in one time for some plumbing supplies and found that i had selected the wrong things so they helped me get the correct items (had to piece together a few things to make it right) and it worked out great. they also have a very friendly cat too. great place.”
