She told me to come back and someone could show me how to work it. At the store, Christian showed me how to work it. I felt stilly because I couldn't figure it out but both of them were so kind and non judgemental. I very much appreciate that.”
“Friendly staff and great customer service. Had an exchange issue that they handled seamlessly. They seem to bend over backwards to make sure that you're happy, and that's hard to find these days! Way to go! It's like that whenever I walk in. When I needed to find something that didn't show up on the locator function of the app, they took the time to help me find it. Should be a sixth star available for these guys.”
“Shout out to SHAWN for going above and beyond helping my mom find the mini Lowe’s buckets after the first guy straight up went “no we’re all out” … Shawn pulled out his device to look it up.. gave us directions on where it would be then found us later to ask if we found them. Which we said no there weren’t any… to which he then went to the back and found us a whole box ! Thanks Shawn! You made my moms day!”
“Helpful people, quick in and out. Could have better knowledge regarding where the concrete blocks were (exactly) and the treated 2x4x8' were too. Had to drive around a bit to find. Should have location grids or something like that, and the attendant at the gage should scribble on the ticket OR the pick up ticket you get when you pay should have the locator grid printed off on that ticket (use AI to do). There was a guy that walked the store with me to find everything I bought from inside the store (great help).”
“If I could give more stars I would, Trevor needs to complimented and rewarded, he stopped to help me even though he was headed to the time clock to leave. He didn't tell me this I noticed him walking out the door in street clothes as I was leaving, he took the extra 10 minutes to help me when he could have just walked by. Thank you”

“I know this is hard to believe but Star Lumber still answers the phone! No automated robots to get you to the wrong department.Star is still a real lumberyard. A lot of folks probably don't remember real lumberyards but there was once a time when employees of lumberyards knew things and understood general residential construction.I'm sure there are some knowledgeable people at the box stores but generally, if you don't walk in with A "sku" number, they're completely lost.I'd rather even pay a little more for good service and knowledgeable salespeople.”
