“This was the hotel my company booked me for my work trip and I loved my stay! The rooms were modern and clean, the gym was a great amenity that had everything needed for a great workout and the dining staff was so kind! I will definitely request to stay here if I visit again.”

“I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Governor's Inn Wichita on my way down to South Padre Island, TX and liked it so much I also stayed here on my way home. The rooms are modern and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, small refrigerator and microwave. Additionally there is a great barbecue restaurant right across the parking lot and the nice staff at the front desk put my ice packs in a freezer overnight so I could keep perishable items cold in my coolers for my trip home, I will be back!”
“This stay was overall a great one. Room was clean, service friendly location was prime for us. The 3rd party i booked with put us in a smoking room. I could've switched but I saved by not doing so. Had a suite for less than a cheap room. Free breakfast.”
“Rooms: The room was clean and quiet with a great kitchenette.
Safety: The property was very well lit, and the lobby has key card access at night, and the alternative entrances all have card access.
Walkability: There is a Walmart supercenter across the street and a few restaurants on the other side of that.”

“I travel to Wichita monthly. This is my go-to hotel of choice; clean, comfortable, and reliable. The staff are kind and responsive. My only complaint are the other guests. It's common to see families for soccer, softball, and basketball tournaments. Sometimes they're disruptive and that can be annoying, but I'll still choose this location to the other places I have stayed at here in Wichita.”
“I'm sure people have complained about the hotel being dated, but my thought is we get what we pay for. For the pics I paid, I thought the place was very clean and orderly. The bedsheets smelled and felt FRESH! I'm super sensitive to mattresses so ended up sleeping with my head at the foot of the bed. People with my condition will get it. Because most of us tend to SIT and read or watch TV at the head of the bed, over time, the mattress is then lower on that end. That's an FYI, not a complaint. Coming into the room there was a mirrored closet door that spooked me every time as I'd want to walk that way (basically into the door lol) rather than straight into the room. You'll have to stay there to understand. The breakfast was hot, fresh, and filling. The staff that I interacted with were all pleasant and friendly. Would i stay there again? You bet.”

The person who is working on the day night, give me a hard time but the next day Judy help me feel better and And she also gave me 20 minutes late check out without any extra fee for the things that happened on the first day when I check in but overall, I can rate this 5 star because I had a pretty good time.”

“Great place to stay, lovely front desk attendees. Fabulous breakfast! I have only one negative comment, they put a hold on Credit card for deposit, which isn't unusual but they didn't take off at check out, I asked them if I needed to remind them, He said no its automatic. But it went thru anyway and took several days to be credited back to Credit card. Ugh Said they would Credit back $200 but was only $150! No room damage! Room was clean!”

“I had an incredibly satisfying stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Wichita Downtown. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The building itself was immaculate and maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout. I also felt very safe during my stay, which is always a top priority. One of the highlights was the amazing pool that overlooks the edge of the building—truly a unique experience! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wichita.”

“Was staying over due to a car breakdown. Staff had us sit in the lobby from noon until after 6pm instead of just staying in our comfortable room for a “ late” checkout.It was not that busy.Food & drinks: This hotel was great, except before the breakfast hours were over, the staff was vacuuming, wiping tables, taking things off the tables 20-30 minutes before breakfast time was over. Very unprofessional.”

“I recently stayed at MainStay Suites, and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in smooth and easy. My suite was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a kitchenette that made my stay even more convenient.
The location was ideal, close to local attractions and dining options, yet quiet enough for a restful night. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a great variety of options to start the day.
The hotel also features a cozy lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Overall, MainStay Suites provided excellent value and comfort, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. I look forward to returning!”
“The hotel is in the good part of town, close to everything and in a high end quiet and safe neighborhood. Hotel is very well maintained and everything is very modern as well as premium. It has probably the fanciest lobby I’ve ever seen in a Hilton. Nice large rooms as well as bathroom. The only con was that it took the front desk quite a few min to come to the desk and check us in but everything else absolutely did the trick for me. The rate was very good as well.”

“Since I am retired military, I normally stay on base in my RV for multiple weeks at a time. This weekend trip, I chose this motel for it's convenient location and pet friendly rooms. The price for a pet friendly rooms is also cheaper than rooms on McConnell AFB. ( And, easier to get). This place will stay on my list as an option for future short stays.”
“The hotel and staff were great! The room we got was perfect. We had the handicap accessible with roll-in shower room. It had 2 queen beds in it and there was a ton of room in the room. I could not have asked for anything better. The location was not bad. The hotel was about 10 minutes from restaurants and stores. There are a good amount of restaurants right by the hotel. This hotel is a great choice for a room to stay at. Will be back next time we are back in Wichita.”

“The location seem to be in a safe area. The hotel itself seemed a bit rundown. I had a few issues that weren’t a problem for me, but we’re worth noting. Maintenance neglect one thing I did have to accommodate was the handheld shower had no way to mount the showerhead on the wall and it wasn’t repaired by the hotel so I had to zip tie the showerhead to the rail. Also, when I got to the room, I couldn’t find the remote for the TV so I didn’t get to watch any TV while I was there, but that wasn’t a problem. The Wi-Fi signal was a little weak, but it worked. I was pleasantly surprised with the otherwise condition of the room and the fact that it was aapartment style suite. The staff was very friendly and helpful parking felt safe and secure and the price was definitely right. They gave me a room right next to the elevator and that was a little noisy at times, but not a problem. The breakfast was adequate however I wasn’t certain about the sausage gravy because it simply was not up to an acceptable safe temperature. I didn’t get me sick. The biscuits were good. The coffee is OK. The dining room was adequate.”

“Great room for traveling on a budget. Very easily accessible from the turnpike. The people running this location are very nice and were accommodating to me at no charge for a special request. Seems like a family run business. They are competing with 3 other larger motel hotels, in the same parking lot.
The rooms are a little worn out, with older furnishings but clean ♥️. The beds are carefully made with nice fresh linens . Plenty of towels and bathroom were clean, with powerful hot shower too.”
“The rooms were clean.The front desk was very pleasant.They do have a hundred dollar deposit, which is refundable after you check out.And there are no damages. That's kind of surprised me, especially when I am a Wyndam. Rewards member.
