“The owner of this establishment is named Titus. He is From a country in East Africa called Kenya. And he comes from a long line of woodcarvers and his family. The tradition was passed down to him from his father, and he is in the process of passing the tradition down to his daughter.
Each carving within the store is culturally significant, and has a meaning to it. Some carvings present the meaning of life, the importance of family, the importance of a strong community, love, fertility, resilience and more.
Titus is also quite educated in the different cultures in Africa.
Have you recently taken an ancestry DNA test? Have you found out that your ancestor comes from the Fulani tribe? Or the Yoruba tribe? Are you looking to learn more about the traditions and cultures of those in many other African cultures in groups. Titus is the perfect person for that!

“Carhart carries a wide selection of shirts, pants, shorts, jeans in lighter weight then what I’ve experienced prior and my wife and were taken advantage of the sales. Bout a pair of flex fit jeans. Well dungarees are dungarees but I must tell you it’s good at retaining material shape no sags. Shirts are lighter weight material but appears durable. Love the new relax fit ripstop cargo work pants that are identical to 5.11 ripstop tactical pants that I own love them for summer, but Carhartt heavier weight material will keep you warm in 50 degree weather and it’s not as heavy a material as Carhartt “work” pant so the ripstop allows you to wear them in 70’degree weather. I feel they’ve stumbled on the perfect durable, lightweight spring and fall comfortable men’s wear. My wife bought jeans, t shirt and a few tops and shorts. My wife has not made one complaint with any if our Carhartt purchases. Over 40 years marriage I know that’s a good thing so get out and shop CARHARTT.”

“This location is so cool - housed in a former church- so it is worth a visit just to take in the atmosphere! I am definitely older than the typical Urban Outfitter demographic, but I was able to find a few items that are perfect for me like a biker jacket and a couple of soft layer-able shirts. The two staffers were friendly and helpful, one even went in the back to look for my size (large) as many of the items on the racks were small or medium. I don't think I even say one "extra-large" item in the blouses, but maybe I missed that. I was able to get the biker jacket in a large enough size, so that was fun! Cool place to hang out on a Friday night for 30 minutes of light shopping. Enjoyed my time there! Oh, I think the man at the check-out was named Grant, and he was especially nice. The lady working, too, but I didn't catch her name. They seemed very enthusiastic about their jobs and that is always nice to see!”
“Number one choice for the African American cultural community. It has a "root-feel" that allows one to connect, lay back and take care of some business in and enjoy some time alone, if needed. It also has a mixed and diverse atmosphere on any given day; you'll observe many different shades of people. Also great idea place for the coffee enthusiast and a groups' day out away from everything else. The coffee is the best I've ever tried and you can be you here, if nothing else ?. I love this place!!!”
