I stopped in yesterday to get a new pair of pants and boots after my last pair of 511 boots held up for an astonishing 4 years of construction work. You are paying extra for that, but if you do physical labor or otherwise frequent the outdoors, the length of time before you have to buy again makes up for it. Buy once, cry once as they say. They also make real good plate carriers if you're planning on larping, doing weighted calisthenics, or you're a swat lad looking for a better setup than the department issued you. 10/10 will go back when I wear through these new boots in another 3-4 years.”

“Doug helped fit me for new ski boots. I am 67 and have arthritis. The store was very busy yet he took his time to explain in detail what type of boot may work and what he can do with my current boots in the meantime that are too big. I bought boots that open from the back that makes them much easier to put on. Doug is helping me with a binding issue as the new boots require different bindings than what I have. All this to say, that he went 'above and beyond' in helping me. Thank you, Doug.”

“I typically avoid corporate skate stores bc of the effect they have on small business, however, I was in a pinch to find something for a bday. I popped in and they had exactly what I needed, some purple thunder trucks. Id like to point out that the guy who helped me out was very kind and personable, and he knew his skateboarding. Can't remember his name but he had pink hair and tattoos, he really made my day and could talk to him all day about skate brands. He was also chatting with a younger kid about music and he had the true inclusivity vibe you get when you meet a real skater. Their whole staff had great energy. Go local first but if you have to stop here it's a good one.”

“The owner of this establishment is named Titus. He is From a country in East Africa called Kenya. And he comes from a long line of woodcarvers and his family. The tradition was passed down to him from his father, and he is in the process of passing the tradition down to his daughter.
Each carving within the store is culturally significant, and has a meaning to it. Some carvings present the meaning of life, the importance of family, the importance of a strong community, love, fertility, resilience and more.
