“I took my car there after the dealership quoted me $5,000 to fix the muffler system. This shop took care of me quickly and only charged me $680 just to replace the catalytic converter. My car is running great, I couldn't be happier. They saved me thousands and were very professional and timely. I would highly recommend them to anyone.”

When it became obvious the warranty wasn’t going to cover anything, Amanda ordered the parts and it was ready to go the next afternoon. They are professional, efficient, and take pride in doing quality work. I can’t recommend them more highly!!”

“Our van was on the brink of breaking down and we limped into Small Town Smart Lube feeling stressed and stuck. The guy there stepped up right away he quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. What really stood out was how kind and generous he was with his time and help. On top of that, it was well after their normal closing time and he stayed late into the evening just so we wouldn’t be stranded. This is the kind of caring, honest small-town service you rarely see anymore. The guy truly went way out of his way to help us in a tough spot. Highly recommend Small Town Smart Lube if you need brakes, repairs, or any emergency help. We are so grateful and will definitely be back!”

The staff was friendly, professional, and truly cared about helping me get back on the road safely. The next morning the drive shaft broke at the back of my transmission. I had it towed to Diesel Tech and they jumped on it and got me repaired the same day. “So I have heard good and bad things about this shop.By my experience this shop is top notch on information, knowledge and customer service.I have had service here twice. I'm very mechanically inclined and could do most of the services I have paid for at this shop. I have a Harley Davidson street glide, a very pricey bike and have the opportunity to pay an experienced mechanic to make repairs.Shotgun, the owner mechanic is experienced. He found issues during service I really didn't want to pay to fix but we're definitely needed. I'm sure I would have missed these issues if I had not used shotgun for his service and experience.I have tried several other local shops and not gotten decent service. The Stanford shop did not even look up when I walked inShotgun took time to explain ANYTHING, I asked, even if it delayed service times on bikes.I can't say any other way. I'd recommend service at this shop.I can only hope shotgun takes an apprentice to continue service in his shop.”

“Dunno about y'alls, but my experience was great - I actually sought Jim out in Nicholasville and was saddened he wasn't there - it was my dumb/good luck to find him in Danville. I would trust him with any axle, transmission, or thing I need rolling! He didn't know he beat other estimates and he didn't know I was seeking him til after the job was done - he knew the mechanics of it well and I am pleased with service!”
