You absolutely can't beat the prices, but with this location you don't have to deal with the chaos typically associated with off-brand price stores. And to top it off, the staff are so helpful and kind. Shawn, the store manager, was walking around making sure patrons were finding everything they were looking for, and the check-out staff were friendly and thoughtful with packing up breakable items. I will definitely be back!”

“Staff is super friendly and impeccably creatively dressed. If you ask, they will help you style an item and recommend different pieces if you are going to an event or in search of something to fill a specific need. The store’s curation is beautiful and very contemporary. There are lots of interesting, easily wearable pieces that my eye often doesn’t fall on right away because of how attractive the unusual/textural/sculptural stuff is. The result of the aesthetic mix inspires thinking differently about dressing and styling, even when I don’t pick anything up. Fair warning—some of the price tags are steep, but A) not all of them are that way, and B) higher cost per piece is often the nature of shopping for high quality pieces from small brands and emerging designers who do not have the scale and/or willingness to cut costs on sourcing materials, production processes, labor practices, craftsmanship, or thoughtful design. And you can always wait for a sale—there are very good deals on a lot of cool, niche, sometimes very high-end pieces. Nothing here comes from a 52-micro-season brand. Like its peer boutiques on Vine St (Continuum, TMBTITWI, Sloane), everything at Idlewild has careful thought and artistry behind it. Go, browse, be mindful and open-minded—the people who make up this business are that way themselves.”

“This store was excellent. All the associates were very helpful and attentive. I was quickly given a dressing room and they added my considered clothes to it. All the associates gave advice about the pieces that I tried and hand picked items they thought I would like. I didn’t even go in for jeans but they picked out such a great options I ended up going home with three pairs. The clothes are pricey but the service and quality make it worth it.”

Certainly expensive, but it’s a luxury children’s boutique - by walking in one has to accept the concept. Staff was very kind and helpful once I broke the ice. Mom and dad are very happy with the selections they picked for my clueless self. I’ll be back for the nostalgia, nice clothes, and kind service on my Guncle duties.”

“I’ve been to this boot barn many of times and I’ve never had a bad experience. I came in today on a Wednesday afternoon looking for a hat. I was told at checkout that the employees who shape the hats weren’t there today and weren’t going to be there until Friday. I live over an hour away so I was on the fence. I needed it for the weekend so I was hoping for a miracle. The manager went out of her way to text one of the employees to see if she could come in and shape it real quick. The employee said yes! Great experience. Made my whole day. Everyone in that store needs a raise!”

“This is the 2nd time I purchased shoes from Footworks. The first pair of keens lasted for several years. I was due for a new pair so I stopped back in and talked to Ashlee, she was great! She helped me with finding the shoe I liked as well as other customers in the store.
They did not have my size in stock but she had it sent from another store the next day. I ended up getting a different shoe after they came in.
Both times I visited this store, it was a very nice experience. Will definitely return again.”
“Very limited selection in 32 waist and quality casual tops in (Men) L. All stores w/ this model are to an extent, but I virtually never walk out with anything that was on my list here. But always walk out w/ something at least. Place is clean, employees are always helpful, carry pleasant, cheery vibes. Homegood section isnt huge, but can find some good deals usually. Same with cosmetics/skincare. All in all, I recommend stopping in.”

“I visited this wonderful little establishment today. I have alot of issues with my feet and picking out the right shoes for comfort especially for work. I went in and was immediately approached by a young woman who was eager to help and very knowledgeable. I told her what I was looking for and she brought me out 3 different pairs of shoes to try on, I picked the pair that best suited my needs and was in and out within 20 minutes. Couldn't be more satisfied with the service, they didn't have the color in store but was able to order exactly what I wanted and was as easy as I could have ever asked for.
