The food they make is really good especially when it's 1st made. The parking lot is well-lit. I took a star off because, in my opinion, they are more pricey than other gas stations I have been to but I guess you pay more for convenience.”

“My friend kept telling me their food was good. Mind you, I used to live like 10 houses away but I was about 16 so that was many years ago.
So to start off when I went inside I was greeted very nicely by all the staff, or I should say the family, this is a family ran establishment. Very nice and as soon I ordered the food the man put gloves on. He was very sanitary. And very nice, and if you know me to do a review you kinda have to order 1 of everything.
So I got 2 piece chicken with honey biscuit (my friend says the have homemade breakfast as well). Then I ordered jambalaya and Mac n cheese, and I had to get some wedges. I'm not knocking indies wedges but I have crohns n I love wedges but I can't eat the spicy ones. And YEY, these aren't the spicy ones!!. They are soft and amazing!
The chicken was thoroughly cooked and delicious! The jambalaya....1st bite I said omg and slid down the seat in my car it's so good. All the seasonings on point!! Even the Mac n Cheese is ? cheesing!! Buss'n

“I am a long time fan of speedway, mainly due to their points that you can earn to get free stuff or things knocked off of whatever your purchase is. Especially the gas price perks that come along with being a member of their point program. This place here always seems to have friendly workers, who are always very informative about whatever sale they have going on and try to help you out to save a dollar. I really like this one because it's right beside the expressway and I do a lot of work over at the fairgrounds.”

“This is a decent gas station. The gas prices usually tend to run on the higher range, which isn't unusual considering that this is the southwest end of Louisville. This location has the beer cave and the big polar pop machine.”

“Thorntons needs better coffee and creamer options.
Actually, the whole pre-cooked sandwich deli thing needs fresh cooked food. The last breakfast sandwich I bought from here was probably 2 hours under the heat lamp.
You can eat here and get gas too!
Wawa is going to take a huge chunk of their customer base away.”

“This place is a local monument. I remember for years this location was empty and it was a nightmare. I'm so thankful that this place is here, a place I visit almost daily. Mike is super kind and friendly, cares about his employees and his customers. They make good food here, try the BLT or fish sandwich, also make a killer turkey club! Great selection here of everything from soda, Ale-8 in bottles and sometimes cans, and a beer cave with nice selection. Fast and friendly people here that will learn your name, and greet and always treat you like a family friend.”
“Just your typical gas station. They have gas, snacks, drinks, beer, hot food and bums hanging around begging you for money. I guess that's all I can really say about Speedways. Oh wait, they were bought out by 7-11 and their credit card readers look like they are from the 1960's. Enjoy your visit to this place and watch out for the bums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
