Here are tips to improve the customer experience.
At your self checkout add a hand scanner. These are heavy whole sale products. Why is the customer picking up these items to be scanned on a fixed scanner? This is a liability issue. What if the customer twists the wrong way and hurts their back? They are inside the costco warehouse and this is avoidable.
Another issue is if a membership is about to expire. The checkout will ask if the customer if they would like to re-new this is good. The problem is that if they do not want to re-new. The prompt makes it hard for them to continue checking out. If this happens to enough people there could be a class action law suit for.

-Misrepresentation and fraud

“You don't have to go inside to prepay and avoid this. At most big brand stations (and many smaller ones) you can simply press the 2 buttons on either side of the 0 on the keypad (usually ‘clear" and ‘enter'…sometimes ‘*’ and ‘enter') and it will give you an opportunity to type in a preset amount at the pump! I know, I didn't believe it when i first heard of it either but it works and I use it any time im not filling up completely! Also, my bank doesn't do gas holds, in fact if I had 1 dollar in my account I could fill my tank well into the negatives and as long as its within an hour I could even still spend that dollar since it takes 45 min- hour before it verifies that I went into the negative. (Obviously Id get hit with a overdraw fee if I didn't bring my account back positive by midnight, still, a lot of trust”

“There are two FiveStar stations in Mount Washington; this is the first one you see when driving in from Louisville, while the other is on the town's main throughway. The latter feels like it's straight out of "Deliverance," so this is the one you want. Great staff, clean quarters in and outside the store, and they always make an effort to keep prices at the pump as low as possible. I've always had a soft spot for FiveStar's food, too; the FiveStar Bold coffee will certainly wake you up and their baked goods are well worth a shot.”

“Small little gas station located on N. Bardstown Rd. in Mount Washington. It does not offer a lot of gas pumps and it is very small and the inside but it's still ran by nice people and it's a nice gas station that is clean and well taken care of”
“The owner is really chill as well as staffing that works there. As long as they are open there is a bathroom to use inside. Warm coffee on the pot. There are also apartments available upstairs. If they don’t already have someone moving in. The gas is always cheaper than anywhere else. Very welcoming store. Recommend checking it out.”

“This Marathon is great! The gas here is some of the cheapest in the area, the employees are helpful, and the food is decent. The construction makes it a bit more annoying to get into the parking lot at the moment, but if you can make it it’s definitely one of the best gas stations around.”

“This location, as of 2023, is under new management. It is no longer serviced by BP. There have been many updates made to the location. Some exterior updates include: the pumps being updated to the new hands-free card swipes with touch screens and video displays. Better lighting has been installed under the canopy. For those pumping gas at night, this provides great visibility, extending well past the edges of the parking lot.”
