“Near a lot of restaurants and walking distance to the horse track and gaming! I've been here 2 weekends in a row for work and loved every stay. Customer service is excellent! The rooms are so nice!”

“My husband and I made reservations at the holiday Inn in Florence, Kentucky Sunday on the 31st. I called back and ask we can have the 30th also the girl at the holiday Inn says no problem.Well we didn't know she made through Priceline, we had to cancel because of covid, when I called two days ahead to cancel in advance. Holiday inn cancel on the 31st. Can't on the 30. Told me to call Priceline, Priceline already got the money out before our due date to arrive. Any way we can't get our money back. I called holiday inn about it, not there problem. can someone take care of this. I called Priceline getting a run around. What a scam.”

“I must say that I had some minor reservations because of certain reviews and also because I've never had a really late check-in especially at a hotel with no night attendant. My "late" check-in process was simple and quick! My room was clean and even though it was obvious the room used to allow smoking it wasn't bad. The kitchenette was nice with plenty of utensils. There is no daily housekeeping which I liked not having to put up a do not disturb sign. Will stay again!!”

“Incredible beds. My room's bathtub has been painted, and the paint is peeling off. This & other small things show the room needs some attention from maintenance. Otherwise a perfect stay.”

“Still to this day as long as I have been an Elite member of best western, I still never get greeted as such when I'm checking in. The guy who checked me in the evening I stayed there was extremely lazy and more or less refused to give me an ice bucket. Not that big a deal but damn, if you're going to be in the hospitality industry at least do a little something for the guests aside from play on your phone. All other employees were extremely friendly and helpful, the manager even reached out and offered me some compensation for my troubles. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely stay here.”

“We checked in on 3-8-24 in evening checked out on 3-9-24. Gentleman named Justin was working front desk. He was nice polite all the above..He got us straight into our room. Once we got in I started my room check (I worked YEARS in housekeeping and Head housekeeper) the A/C wasn't working in bedroom. My husband went down desk and Justin got right on it!! He came to our room checked out contacted maintenance and ended up having crash course on fuse changing with maintenance on phone. All while doing front desk also..A/C was fixed quickly.(he needs a raise the way he was running around).Housekeeping..Could Use a little more attention to detail..looking under sofa beds and dressers things like that. But My 7yr old was happy when he found change in sofa bed lol...I sent few pictures to my husband (he was in the bistro) he actually showed Justin. Justin contacted management and we ended up with a $60.00 discount for all the inconvenience and 1 free Flatbread pizza. Now I did not send the pictures to complain! Housekeeping is NOT an easy job! Things are forgotten and missed! It happens!!! Especially when you have 15-20+ rooms and only so much time to do them in.. The bed was very comfortable and clean! Bathroom, vanity was very clean!! (Room 330)Now for the employees attitude in the bistro, not sure if the lady was just having a bad moment,day or week but whatever it was I hope she fixed it.!We would definitely stay again!Jason & Jamie Harper”

“1. Close the airport2. Have a bus to free drive us to hotel.3. Every day, clean up our room.4. The bed is not too soft and good enough.5. Have a refrigerator and cool enough for the drink.6. Good breakfast every morning.7. They can allow us to use the lobby and have a meeting there.8. When we leave for the airport, the own come to say goodbye with us, and find the couple cars to drop us to the airport.We are an ppreciate all services are good and so comfortable. I m recommend for everyone when you book hotel there”

“Since they remodeled it's a really nice place to stay the walls have been repainted you now have a full size refrigerator, full size microwave, two sinks one for washing dishes and one for brushing your teeth, there is also a table with two chairs for you to sit & eat the bathtub is gone it's only a shower now. The remodel is nice.”

“Never been to Kentucky. Not sure treviews are so bad, must be people expecting the Hyatt. Our room was clean. The beds are springy comfty if you like that over rock hard beds. Very cold fridge and freezer and hot water in the shower. We saw no bugs or roaches. There was good tv. . It’s close to a mall and all kinds of shopping. We stayed two nights and may ask to stay longer. If you need your clothes washed go to Ruthie’s laundry a couple miles away they are super nice. I was so scared to stay here because the reviews are 5 out of 10, must be hard to please people who don’t travel much, they deserve a much higher score.”

“Service was really good. I stayed for a little over two weeks can’t complain about the room. It was just what I needed for myself clean had daily housekeeping and room service if needed. I’ve came back every year always happy with my service I given.Rooms: I had two different rooms in the time I’d been there. Both rooms were clean. Always had great service TV. Had Dish network always a microwave with the mini fridge that worked well. And of course nice windowNearby activities: Close by is a water park. Parks w/ walking trails. At the majority of the parks There are bike trails, family, fun centers and of course shopping.Walkability: There are plenty of gas stations, restaurants, workout centers, if needed along with banks and even shopping within walking distance, some may need to be driven to, but no more than a mile awayFood & drinks: There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and even driving distance. If that’s what you prefer myself, I walked and just next-door there are about five fast food and to dine in restaurants.Noteworthy details: I appreciate the business side of any business I dearly had housekeeping approach me or my door. Just checking on me at least three times in my stay. I ran in to the manager and he was always just so friendly. I appreciate the fact that they don’t allow smoking immediately on the property for those that don’t smoke.”
