“Everything I want in a gas station and more. It’s clean, well lit, and offers full-bodied, competitively priced fuel that could lure an old lady from the northeast into thinking it was a worthy local beer on tap outside a store full of snacks and other things in packets that blossom with the possibility of good-to-go road food. It seemed to me as if the employees were going out of their way to be gracious, too, but, maybe that’s just the southern way, because, no matter which way you’re comin’ or going, this is one of those spots where you just know for sure you aren’t where you were any more. Most one syllable words turn into two. YAY-uh. Ray-ed. And Ale-8.”
“This Marathon is located right at the end of the Mountain Parkway in Salyersville, Kentucky. It's a great spot to stop for gas and/or snacks when you're coming off of the Parkway or getting on it to head towards Lexington, Louisville, or Cincinnati. If you're traveling in the area I definitely recommend this Marathon for a stop!”
