I have never had a bad experience there! There prices are wonderful. No they aren't always cheaper than Walmart, but they aren't overpriced. You get what you pay for, and I love going there!”

    “I always get gas here when I'm over that way visiting my parents because they have some of the cheapest around, which is a HUGE help. I usually buy some snacks, too, like pop and slim jims or beef jerky...cant firget a caramello! Their pizza rolls and big tater tots are so good, as are their breakfast sandwiches (my favorite is the tenderloin). Also, order yourself a big hitch.....sooooooo good and you won't regret it! Bob and everyone else who works is super friendly every time I come in. Highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: Bob and his family do a lot for the community. Halloween and Christmas there are going to be a fond memory to look back on once all these kids are grown and reminiscing about days gone by! :)”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
