So it was a challenge finding steaks to please our family members who relocated from there. Once introduced to Finke’s, it’s the only place they’ll get their steaks now…along with their famous goetta! (P.S. Do not grill your steaks…dries them out. Cast iron skillet with plenty butter!)”

“We went in the store looking for wine. They always have really good prices on good quality wine. In addition, there are always a couple of experts in the wine department, who can help you and willingly do so. Top notch in this department.While we don’t do a lot of other shopping here, we always walk by the meat and deli areas because there is usually something that catches our eye.When we check out, there is always someone to do this for us. No self check out here! The employees are friendly, and appear to like their jobs.”

“While working on consuming more whole food plant based foods and Mediterranean style eating, I stumbled across this shop at Findlay Market (right by the fancy kitchen store and the coffee roaster stall) I was really impressed with the selection of scoopable legumes, fresh produce like a generous portion delicious $4 hummus, all kinds of spices and ingredients, all your groceries needs. Friendly staff guided me next door to the next shop for fresh Thyme (non-competitive environment). 10/10 will be incorporating this shop in my downtown grocery lifestyle!”

“Stumbled upon this place recently and shopped there today. A little difficult to find as I passed by it initially, but it is clean and organized. I have yet to try the food that I purchased, but Gina was very friendly and helpful. If I had a little more space I would try out their package/bundle deals, but I just got bags of chicken rings, fries, roasted wings and QC hot dogs. Great prices on 5 lbs. bagged items, especially given the rise in food prices. I’m sure everything will be delicious.”

“I used to live in the apartments in the same building years ago .It was very convenient having a deli right in my building. They used to have a hot meal as well as the deli food. The owner's husband made a killer meatloaf that they had every Wednesday. They also have a pretty good wine selection. I highly recommend this place. Get the red potato and sour cream potato salad and the artichokes!”

“Small, quaint Mexican restaurant. Food is good and pretty comparable to your typical Mexican restaurant in the area, if not a little better. I do enjoy their menu options as they are a little different than other places. Staff is super friendly. Wish I could remember my waiter's name he was great!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step up into the building and pretty much all the seating is up a short set of steps.”

“This is a good location. I rent a deep clean machine which Tori was working and helping me. On the returning time I went back on time, Kremer who an assistant service manager did not check or ask anyone refused to take the machine back. I told this machine was due. Luckily Tori was there and told him to check on paper. As an assistant he should learn more services. Thanks”

“It's a convenience store at the end of a street that sells amazing soft-serve ice cream. I try to stop by whenever I am in the Covington/Newport/Bellevue area. The soft serve is such a great deal. They give you a huge portion for less than $4. The flavors are unique and change weekly. If you follow them on social media, they post what new flavors they have. Today's was vanilla and butter pecan mix. They also have beer on tap, a large variety of craft beer, and other typical convenience store items. The staff there are super friendly as well. Will definitely stop by again when I am in the area!”

“I liked the store better with the original owners but they sold it years ago. They have changed the inside layout some though they seem to have essentially the same stuff, albeit more expensive, not entirely the store's fault, and to keep a small mom & pop shop like this open things do tend to be more expensive but it's one of those places that make Erlanger, Erlanger!”

“I think some of these reviews fail to realize that having a store like this in the armpit of Dayton is a blessing and they have to keep their prices high because it's not a grocery store where they can get things delivered by the truckload. They aren't price gouging us, prices are marked to keep afloat lol. It's a convenience store. You're paying for the convenience. Excellent service every single time and it's SO nice to pick up some odds and ends to save me a trip to Kroger.”

“This store is located in the center of where Bondhill meets Norwood and a bus the 43 Bondhill can get you within 50 ft from the store. It is a clean organized store and friendly employees work there. Thrifty has everything from dish liquid, snack foods, refrigerated food items, automotive needs like oil, soft drinks, lottery from pull-tabs to scratch-offs, and paper products like pampers and toilet paper. This GEM of a neighborhood store has jewelry, hats, t-shirts, and smokes. There is a lot to see here even coffee maker filters. The store stays moderately busy. Most of the customers are repeat longevity customers who likes to chit-chat-loud-mouth which holds the line a little bit but if you are new to this store it takes a minute to get use to the chit-chat-loud-mouth local customers. Mostly they do it because these customers lack attention and this store gives them the attention they need to smile as they leave the store.”
