Didn't try to upsell me - just needed something to cook food and last a long time. Same prices as the big box stores with the extra touch of free delivery and haul-a-way. Shop local, buy local. There aren't too many gems like this left.”
“I love our little neighborhood hardware store! It's perfect in that it's an easy walk, the prices are excellent, and there's so much there that if I need something in a pinch to finish a project or get one started, it is so convenient to get there. If you have to drive, there's parking in the back and on the street. And as I discovered, if you like to smoke your meats, they have a selection of smoking woods and supplies.I don't like going to the massive, out of the way hardware stores, especially if I just need a few things. Oscar's knows that and what they supply is what most of us need.”

“What a great hidden gem of a hardware store! Great staff and terrific selection of items. Needed a new gas blower and they had what I needed and already assembled hanging on the wall to start using immediately! Staff also helped me register my new Stihl blower at their kiosk. Incredible wall of BBQ supplies, gotta be in the biggest selection in town! Thank you for all your help!”

“We went to have keys made but saw whole lot more. Friendly staff answered all our questions. We also looked at keyless entry front door locks and they had a good selection. I went into the ladies room and had so much fun because they have a smart toilet by Toto in there. It's the kind that when you go in the lid lifts upThe seat is heated. It cleans you, it dries you, And, it cleans the toilet. Loved it now I want one in my bathroom.”
“First time visiting this store and I’ll definitely be back. Steven (hopefully spelling his name correctly) greeted me with a hello and handshake and noticed I came in with a list of things to buy. Searching other stores and Amazon, Woodcraft was the only location within 75 miles that had everything I needed. Explained to Steven the project I was working on and what I needed, got me over to the right section of the store and had everything available. First time customer and received a discount. Thankful they had everything in stock I needed, but really appreciate Steven and his helpful customer service.”

“Absolute best harbor freight I’ve been too. There’s 2 closer stores to my house, but I always make the drive. Every employee I’ve encountered has been as nice and respectful as could be. Warranties are a breeze. Just grab the new set it’s from, go to the front counter, and you’re in and out within 5 min. No questions asked no receipt needed. Recently bought a new tool cart that came a little scratched and dented, I called and they set their last one in the back until I was able to make it to the store, almost 11 hours later. They helped me unload the old, and load the new box, and even helped me open the new box and get rid of the trash when it wouldn’t fit while in the packaging. 10/10 will always make the drive to this store.”

“The people who are incredibly nice not only do they have exactly what I needed then let me know you don't want what you think you want we have something that's going to make your job a lot easier if you just trust us I trusted them and the job was so incredibly easy thanks to them they gave me something that was so much easier to work with easier to move and it made me get done with the job at least a good 3 hours early”
“Wow where do I begin. By far the best hvac supply house in all of Louisville. Extremely competitive prices if not the lowest, always has what I need in stock. The people that work there are kind, knowledgeable, and take care of their customers. The guys handling the custom sheet metal do not skip a beat, they’re quick and efficient. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to with no hesitation.

“Tried to order a deer blind online then received notification it was no longer available. I went in store to see if they possibly had it in stock, they did not. I spoke to manager, Nate, asking about the possibility of another store having it. He was able to find several of them at a Louisiana store. He contacted the store and had them transferred. He kept in contact with me and gave me frequent status updates. Very much appreciated. He definitely went above and beyond. We are grateful! Nate saved Christmas ? I am always greeted when we walk into the building. Cool store with lots of cool things. Prices are a little high but everything is of good quality. Definitely an awesome store.”

“Got the parts I needed and now the house is nice and cozy again. My furnace is an older model with a scarce aftermarket for OEM parts and the fellas at Ferguson were able to dindy me a compatible universal ignitor that was up to the job. Very friendly staff that know what they're doing. 10/10.”

“Somehow this little hardware store always has exactly what I need. From the exact size bolt, to a back door threshold seal in a 60 year old house to a water spigot rebuilt kit for a 40 year old faucet. I'm always amazed that they have what the big box stores don't. It's a shame that they no longer carry propane or I'd never need any other home improvement store. I brought them the old frames from my screen windows and they made them look brand new for a great price too.”

“WOW. I checked 6 businesses before I found that Jefferson Lumber had everything I wanted. They gave me advice on how to use it, and they loaded it for me- about 600 pounds. They even offered me a soft drink. I had gotten used to self serve at the big box stores, so this was a special treat.”
