About Budget Car Rental
Budget Car Rental at Louisville International Airport (SDF) provides a convenient location for pickup and drop-off, with many customers reporting an extremely easy and quick process. Pleasant and helpful staff are frequently noted, with some describing excellent, fast, and friendly customer service at the front desk. The online rental process is also considered very easy.
However, experiences with vehicle condition are inconsistent. Some customers received cars that were not cleaned, with crumbs in cup holders, dirty interiors, and unclean exteriors with water spots or bird droppings. Occasional issues with minor non-functional damage or low fluids have been reported. While the rental prices are generally considered fair and the cars run well, the vehicles are often very basic with no extra features. Despite cleanliness concerns, many customers indicate they would rent again due to the overall convenience and service.

Picked up a Chrysler Pacifica van on Sept. 28 and returned it on Oct. 3. The van met our needs perfectly for four full-size adults with luggage. The staff at the rental counter, at pickup, and at return were all helpful and friendly! Will definitely rent from Budget in the future!

Horrible car service. My family had booked Isn’t this car for Labor Day weekend and will be arrived to check in our reservation. They stated that they did not have more cars left. Like what do you mean you don’t have the cars left I have the reservation right here.

Staff was friendly and got an upgrade. However, the vehicle smelled of BO and cigarettes.
