“This is by far the best dollar general I've ever been in....they even have a frozen food and fresh meat selection such as:pork,steak, fish, shrimp,pork chops...and much more.. 2 whole isles of frozen and fresh foods and all along the back wall aother whole section of frozen foods,almost a mini Walmart...I would rather go here for convenient items rather than Walmart also and the store employees are awesome,,always a good vibe and almost too polite but the gesture is nice...great job on whoever runs this store because if it stays how it is now it will flourish..”

“It’s just your run of the mill Dollar General. They are all basically the same, but some stores carry things that the other stores don’t. Don’t know why that is but not all stores carry the same products. Doesn’t make sense to me.”

“Pricing is always at or lower than the market price in the area before any Kroger Plus shopping discounts. And I LOVE my Kroger gas discounts which of course depends on how much you spend on groceries, Rx, etc.. but if your gonna spend the money for groceries etc anyway it makes sense to take advantage of any savings you can find. The gas is good quality & I get good mpg running regular both town & highway miles. They also have a variety of snacks, drinks, tobacco products & a very few car essentials like wiper fluid, basic motor oil & fuel treatment. Most have a standard of two covered pumps available on each side of the cashier's booth allowing them to have 8 vehicles at the pumps at a time. The staff does an excellent job of assisting any customers who need it or have questions & checking out is generally fast even if you choose to pay at the booth vs paying at the pump. They have an air pump available which takes coins or credit cards & is rarely out of order. Getting in & out can be a little tricky due to its location but you just need to be aware & patient”
“I go to this particular Dollar store because they have handicap parking AT THE DOOR!! One store is about one mile from my home, but has H parking several feet away from entrance. The one employee was very helpful in a friendly way. I prefer this store!”

“Very nice store. Most of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like they genuinely enjoy seeing each and every customer that walks in. The product selection is great with lots of variety of items. It's always clean and presentable. One complaint I do have is there is one cashier that is rude almost everytime I'm in there. Not just to me but to others as well. I'm not sure if it's a girl or boy but I believe it's a girl with very short curly black hair. She could use some kindness coaching. Other than that I love this store! Definitely worth checking out!”

“Best Kroger in town!EDIT: I left the stars for the experience I had at the time. This store has always been old and run down and I overlooked that because I really enjoyed and appreciated the employees. That has definitely changed. Johanna is an angry person, ?ALL?THE?TIME? ! She's rude and is very comfortable cursing in front of customers and talking horribly about them. The management is aware and corporate has been notified. I will continue to report her until she either changes her disgusting attitude or she's fired. Period.”

“Kroger on Frederica and Starlite are both ok if you shop inside. The pick up service not so great. The app doesn't always work and with the telephone number no longer available your at the mercy of contacting an associate or walking in for assistance. Both Kroger's are doing this now. This service was useful for so many local shoppers of age and/or disability. The most friendly Kroger in Owensboro is on 60 East. This store is also the cleanest. They do not have a pick up service but it's easily to manage due to the smaller size. Their produce section is absolutely the best hands down.”
“I found an item on the shelf for $3.95 whole I was at self check I mentioned to the lady that was the incorrect price, it came up as 6.95. she took it back the shelf. when I was done checking out I went back to the freezer section the item the item had been replaced no price changes had been made.i went back up to the register, told the lady about the price being 3.95 like I thought she said I know. I mentioned that I was then going to go ahead and purchase 2 items she stated that I was not... she refused to let me... and let went to the item at that time to change the price on the shelf. The items were priced at 3.95 I have a picture of the sticker... and she refused to honor the price of both item. stated that the only way I could talk to a upper management was to purchase my items and it would then have a number on my receipt. she also stated that the items now have a new price, the old price sticker has been covered up. she told me I could stand there all day, she would not honor the price that was on the shelf. pretty sad for the store manager”
“Pickup from online ordering. Fast & easy. they are well organized & the staff is always friendly. There are a few errors on the app but that's understandable given the vast number of items they sell. I have had issues twice with the way some items have been packed such as heavy items bagged with or on top of eggs resulting in broken eggs & a mess to clean up & smoothed bread. When I tried to give feedback I got no response. So I recommend requesting eggs & bread be packed separately in the special instructions area. Lots of good digital coupons available thou some you have to hunt for, but it's worth it. I also like shopping instore but find the online ordering more & more convenient. Store is clean, well organized & well Stocked. Pricing is competitive for the area with a good number of specials available weekly however more & more you need to utilize the app to load those on your card/ account which takes time to do & can be a pain. The fuel points are also a nice bonus.”
