“I have been doing business here since the late 70's. I am a contractor and this is the best place in the Commonwealth to get building supplies. They also have a great old school hardware store. Prices for building projects are almost always cheaper than Lowes, Home Depot and the other construction supply businesses in the central Kentucky area.Trex decking can be found here and orders for trex usually arrive in a couple days after ordering. The entire staff seems like they really care for their customers. I don't know what I would do without Stratton Lumber Company.”

“Rachel Smith is just wonderful! We purchased a sink and faucet from Winnelson in 2018 through our contractor, J&R Construction (side note: also amazing). We had an issue today that with the weather I was concerned about. Rachel took the call personally, spent time to stay on the line as we troubleshooted and assisted with possible solutions for almost an hour. She was kind, concerned and made me feel at ease during a frustrating moment. Her customer service is above and beyond, so appreciative of her efforts- there are not many people like her! If you purchase from Lexington Winnelson, you will be a lifetime customer.”

“From one end of the store to the other, there is always a great selection of items to look through. I didn't get anything today from the garden center, but I always enjoy looking--had fun.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff, I needed a chip key I bought online cut so I could program it, other stores wouldn't cut customer supplied keys, but great lakes did, saved me allot of time and money verses a locksmith.”

Very appreciative of the service we received today!”
