He had the energy of someone who’s fought a pipe demon and won). Dude looked at me, said “3/4 inch,” and walked away. When I checked my shopping list… it was 3/4 inch. I hadn’t even told him. I think he read my aura.
He moved through the aisles like a plumbing cryptid. I blinked, and he was gone. I blinked again, and he was handing me the exact valve I needed, like some kind of hardware sorcerer.
