“It's even better at night when everything is lit up. It's nice and peaceful. They have benches to where you can sit along the Riverside and listen to the water”
“We had our wedding in the Picasso room and it was honestly the most beautiful and amazing night. I loved how we were allowed to use our own catering services and how much time we had the room. Also the lighting on the ceiling is gorgeous and made everything feel magical. The bridal suit was the perfect size for my five bridesmaids and me to get ready with our hair/makeup artist.”
“We stopped at the LSF while on a little bourbon trip. What a great place! If you like baseball, this is a must see. We got to take a tour of the bat-making facility, as well as learning about the players who used their bats. They had a couple of exhibits where you could swing a bat used by the greats, Stargell, Clemente, and Ruth. As well as inside the museum, they have home plates lining the street that you can check out.”

“Great venue with amazing architecture. The cons: very expensive concessions and no cash is accepted. Seating is tight so I recommend getting your seats close to the aisle if possible.”
“Went today with a group of girlfriends to see the “Love and Marriage “ exhibit. Wonderful tour guide, Trish shared with us wonderful stories about beautiful wedding dresses and traditions from more than 100 years until now. She clearly LOVES her job. She shared that the museum focuses on the things that make Kentucky, Kentucky. As a sidebar we saw the “speakeasy “. Highly recommend! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will go back.”
“Absolutely stunning!! A true hidden treasure in Louisville. The wood work is spectacular. Our tour guide was a decendant of the family with fun stories. Highly recommend!!!!”

“My only complaint is that I wish they had some sort of discounted group rate for theatre students and/or actors. My friend and I went to see The Wiz and our crowd was lackluster. There were parts of the show where the cast thrives off of crowd engagement but culturally, if you're not from that background, or don't understand, it lessens the full experience. My friend and I were fully enjoying ourselves and a handful of folks were dressed in green like the Emerald City, as was I but a lady in front of us was very up tight. I could hear one lady complain about not having to 'put up with this' because she spent so much money. I deem it necessary for someone to come out before each show or overhead and do a brief intro on decorum per show. This will really help enhance each experience.”
“So nice to see so many genuinely nice people gather together to celebrate German heritage. The facility is clean and well-kept, and the food and beer are outstanding! A safe and friendly environment where the whole family can relax and enjoy some real German hospitality. I absolutely love this place!”

Wow, what can I say about Central Park that hasn't already been said? It's a true oasis right here in our bustling city! Every time I visit, I'm reminded of why it's my go-to spot for a peaceful escape. The lush greenery, the well-maintained walking paths, and the beautiful lake with its serene view are just breathtaking.
The park offers something for everyone - from the fitness enthusiasts who love jogging around the lake to families enjoying picnics under the shade of towering trees, and dog owners letting their furry friends run free in the off-leash area. The playgrounds are a hit with kids, while the concert series during summer evenings adds a touch of culture that's hard to beat!
The park's management does an excellent job keeping it clean and safe, which is evident from my countless visits over the years. Kudos to them for preserving such a gem in our community. If you haven't yet visited Central Park, make sure to put it on your list - you won't be disappointed! It truly deserves all 5 stars!”
“just left my third stay at this hotel. it’s simply the best. yes - the rooms are small! this is not somewhere you’d want to stay for extended time but for a long weekend it’s perfect. the staff is incredibly nice. the bar in the lobby is a VIBE. everything is walkable. the food available at the hotel is fast, fresh and affordable. I live in indy and a lot of concerts and comedians who skip us ending up in LOU and so thankful to have found this incredible hotel to stay at when that happens. for parking i recommend the wharf parking garage on witherspoon. it’s less than a 2 block walk and $25 a night.”
“I took my 5 and 7 year old to the Culbertson Mansion since they loved visiting the carriage house during the Halloween season. I have gone to two murder mystery events last year and had a great time. The staff is always nice and professional. Shelby was great answering the kids questions and having patience. The house was beautiful and it was great to have a tour to ourselves.”
“Our day could not have gone more perfectly and that was 100% thanks to Matt and the entire Magnolia team! Our officiant Brian was incredible and the food from Chef D was amazing! The Magnolia provided everything we could need and even extra decor, where most places charge you just for tables and linens. The only outside vendors we needed was DJ,Photography, and hair/makeup, the venue took care of everything else! I will forever recommend The Magnolia and can’t wait to find another reason to use this venue again, as they do so much more than just weddings!”

“We recently hosted a content creator party at Happy Endings, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The energy in this place is unmatched. The neon lights set such a fun vibe, and the huge dance floor makes it perfect for any celebration. I love that they have both an upstairs and downstairs area it gives you plenty of space for guests to mix, mingle, and enjoy themselves. The complimentary bar service included with adult party rentals is a HUGE plus. It saves you money because you don’t have to hire a separate bartender, and the club sound system eliminates the need for booking a DJ. Everything can be customized, including the digital marquee sign outside, which makes your event feel even more special and personalized.
The owner went above and beyond and even made his signature “Happy Ending” drink for our group. Although I don’t drink, everyone who tried it loved it! You can tell they take pride in what they do — they’re professional, fast, and genuinely care about their guests. I also love that they give back to the community monthly and host an annual Thanksgiving giveback. It’s always a great feeling to support a business that pours back into the community.
If you’re planning a Derby party, birthday, graduation, engagement, corporate event, or just want a fun night out this is the place to book. Highly recommend!”
“Visited for WHSL Market Week. Being on a knee scooter it was really hard to navigate. Even the handicapped parking spots were really far away. But it's a nice venue. Plenty of space for just about anything.”
“We stayed here while visiting distilleries in Louisville! We were very impressed. The rooms were super clean, service was exceptional and the “old fashion hour” each evening was an added bonus! If we are ever back up in the Louisville area we will be sure to stay here again!”
“Our wedding was so beautiful, and I could not have asked for a better day! Amber helped us plan every step of the way, and always had wonderful suggestions. The caterer, and DJ that came with our package were so wonderful! We have so many wonderful memories made from our wedding day, and they made us feel important and seen. We had one issue, but they made everything right, and really listened. I could not imagine having a wedding planned any other way! I cannot recommend this venue enough! Thank you for making our day so wonderful, and so much better than I could have imagined! Photos courtesy of our wonderful photographer, Rick Zimmerman!”

“We attended the Jack O Lantern event and found it to be quite enjoyable. The parking can be an issue if you arrive just prior to your entry time, but it is just a short distance to walk no matter where you eventually do park. We attended the 6.30 entry, it took a out an hour to advance into the park so be prepared to wait in line for awhile. Once inside they have plenty of bathrooms, and food/ beverage areas to keep taken care of. The trails are wide , easily walking,,though wheelchairs might find some of the trails alittle difficult. Overall a safe fun experience for everyone!”
“Jeff's Donated is a just, just question their freshness. All of their bakeries are elsewhere. Do get the apple fritter. And get the Cardinal Burger for Bunz. Will not disappoint”
“I attended a field trip with elementary school kids here today. Staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating. All the employees were super educated on their topics, the history, and were amazing with the kids making everything kid friendly. Museum was super cool as well. Highly recommend! The kids and even adults learned a ton! Be aware photography /phones were only allowed in certain locations.”
“Our family held our daughter’s wedding at Mansion 1886 in June of 2025. Our guest were impressed with the historic vibe and elegant beauty of the venue. The new bridal suite is amazing. There was plenty of room for all 8 bridesmaids and a few others. The suite includes a bar area, makeup mirrors and in suite restrooms. I would love the ceiling to be covered or painted black. There also needs to be a larger trash can in the area. We had the ceremony in the ballroom area. We were able to fit 200 guests easily, and a live painter. The 12 foot arch was beautiful against the white and black wall. After the ceremony the room was flipped for the reception by family. I put lots of work into preparing for the flip. I created my own table chart and list of instructions. The team of flippers was established prior to the wedding day. The flip went smoothly and the room was beautiful. While the room was flipped we had two charcuterie boards upstairs. We placed 8 foot charcuterie tables in each large room. The only issue is accessibility for those mobility issues. Unfortunately, it was blazing hot outside so pictures were difficult because of weather. If we had fewer guests we would have done pictures in a room upstairs instead of outdoors. We set up 20 tables in the ballroom and 6 tables in the mezzanine. There was plenty of room for a large dance floor. I was very nervous that we would not have room, but I was wrong. It did not feel crowded. This venue is historical, beautiful, managed by an eager helping spirit, Megan. The night of our wedding the staff that was here was extremely helpful. The big oops of the day was the refrigerator went out, but we were able to use a large refrigerator in a different area. I also failed to notice the stairs the catering company needed to use. Parking was a small issue, but the staff helped have people not attending our party moved.”
“We are hosting our wedding reception at 300 Spring, and even though the big day hasn’t arrived yet, we already feel so confident and taken care of. The owner has been absolutely incredible from the very beginning—so kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about giving us the best experience possible.
The space is beautiful and has so much room, and we love that it comes with so many vendors included: a photo booth, DJ, bartenders, and even a wedding organizer. It has taken so much stress off our shoulders knowing everything is coordinated so smoothly.
Every interaction we’ve had has made us feel welcomed and valued. You can tell she truly loves what she does and puts her heart into it. We’re beyond excited for our reception and so grateful for all the support we’ve received so far. Highly recommend 300 Spring to any couple looking for a venue that really goes above and beyond.”
“This year was my second year bringing my little boy and we, once again, had a great time! I loved what they did with the tickets this year. I feel like it deterred some folks from coming and although it was still pretty packed, it was much more organized and calm. I, personally, was not worried about safety last but i agree seeing this year, i can see why people would feel this way was safer. We went on Halloween night and were able to hit all of the houses on the main street and one steet over in about 1.5 hrs.”

“This is the perfect place to host a small wedding, business meeting, or intimate get together for any occasion. Their director works with each client personally to design the experience that works the best for their needs.”
“Great hall to rent for weddings, birthday parties, or any other special occasion. Is maintained and is ALWAYS very clean. Multiple bathrooms for your guests' convenience. Happily recommend.”
“The Jefferson was a beautiful spot for a wedding. The ceremony was held outside on the deck, with the city skyline in the background. A huge floral chandelier hung above the couple, and with the sunset behind them, it looked straight out of a magazine.
Inside, everything felt well in hand, and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing without long waits. Parking was ample, so getting in and out was easy.
My fiancé and I were so impressed that we’re now looking into the venue for our own wedding. It felt like the kind of place we could celebrate as well.”
“We hosted our wedding and reception at the Bourbon Barrel Loft, and it could not have been more perfect! The rustic candlelight, gorgeous table pieces and warm brick backdrop created a romantic, timeless atmosphere.
The floral arrangements by Erin were absolutely STUNNING! Elegant, lush and perfectly placed. We had a tasting a couple of months before, and the food on our wedding day was even better! We chose a buffet, and every dish was amazing, the beef tenderloin and cod with champagne butter sauce were the stars. They even made an extra plate just for my husband and me since we were busy mingling, such a thoughtful touch.
Everyone we worked with was professional, organized which made planning stress-free. I wanted to have a good time and not worry about anything. The cocktails were top notch, and the team created signature Bride and Groom cocktails that everyone loved.
We had many out-of-town guests from every corner of country who absolutely loved the venue and all the Louisville recommendations nearby, it truly gave them a memorable Kentucky experience. Incredible food, service and ambiance made our night unforgettable.
I highly recommend hosting your event with them. Thank You for giving us such a perfect night!”
“Went to pagan pride. I look forward to this every year! Got to take my daughter for her first time this year. Everything was perfect... until some rude guys came with cameras and microphones claiming to be Christian and starting arguments. Cops couldn't do anything about it. I avoided them cause I don't have any act right or patients for rude folks. Pagan pride was amazing though”
“My granddaughters go to American Turners and they absolutely love it. The staff makes learning gymnastics fun for kids of all ages. Well worth looking into if you are looking for some extracurricular activities for your kids or grandkids.”
“My husband and I had our wedding reception here. It was perfect and special and plenty of room to dance. We took a tour back in October and we knew this was where we wanted to Celebrate! Thankful for my Shively community to let us book.”
