“Tried to check out the comic store here a couple of times, but its always closed. I did grab some baklava at the corner bakery, and it was fabulous. There's a Mexican restaurant at the opposite end facing hwy 27 I tried for lunch. We sampled the chorizo,pork,chicken and steak soft tacos. They tasted great but the meat was all ground and the texture made them all taste too close to the same. The salsa was great, and the house soup was to die for. I'd go back for the salsa,especially. The kitchen crew could not have been nicer people who were very welcoming.”
“My daughter and I had the Burritos with beans & rice. Quite honestly, although this restaurant is rather small and the menu is somewhat limited, the food turned out to be pretty good. At least, as far as the Somerset area is concerned. Obviously, having lived for a number of years in San Antonio, I much prefer the Mexican food there. But a person could do a lot worse than this particular restaurant.”

“We drove down from Michigan yesterday, and this is what we chose for dinner. Quaint little place, close to the hotel. They were very slow, being late on a Sunday night. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The waitress was amazing. The food was excellent. Pricing was very good too! I would definitely recommend this place, and if we were staying in the area, I'd be back for a meal.”

“I’ve never been to a Claire’s location that has had such kind and willing to help employees. Mickey went above and beyond to help me find the necklace I was looking for, for my daughter’s birthday. Usually conversation with an employee is awkward. Mickey will make you feel like you’ve known her all of your life. The store was clean and well kept and a welcoming environment. I hesitated going to a Claire’s after several bad experiences with customer service in Tennessee, but I’m so glad I did today. I’ll be back to this location for any needs I have from Claire’s because of employees like her. Every Claire’s location could learn from Mickey. Thank you for restoring my faith in a company I’ve loved since I was a child myself!”

“I love this store. It's location Hwy 1247 is great,2min from my house. I go there every other day. If possible they will order what you need if there out of it. We buy out there orange cream twizzlers daily,we love them this is only dollar store that carries these. I buy all my household products here too! I buy clothes n medicine here also. I use to shop walmart,but I only shop dollar general Now! On Hwy 1247!! The cashiers are very friendly n helpful,they know me by name too! This is a great store n location is great!! “I have been in many DGs as well as other stores like. Lately though sople who work there do not even acknowledge your presence or are short with you. There was a young lady working tonight (God help me I cannot remember her name)March 3 2024, who was kind and courteous and genuine. She needs to be put in a management position post haste. She was the best. Thank you for your time.”
“This Dollar General is normally one of the cleaner and organized stores. The staff have been very friendly and helpful every time I have stopped by. I usually stop at this store everytime I am in Somerset and need to grab something quick. I can be in and out and have what I need in no time. Would suggest this store to anyone.”
“I could find everything I needed easily enough. Except for men's deodorant, they moved it halfway across the store. From where all the other deodorant and Shampoo and, all that is.”
“Always clean and fully stocked. I use to get upset on days that I shopped and it was difficult to get your cart through the isles because of stock sitting in the floor.
After asking about it, I learned that it happens because of there’s little space for stock in the back and it is mostly due to corporate guidelines, not the management of the store itself.
Although still hectic it’s much more understandable that it’s not at the discretion of local management, these are corporate decisions.”
“It has been years since I have gone to a Krogers because there was not one in my previous location and the visit today did not disappoint. I found the staff to be warm and welcoming and I really appreciated having someone to not only scan my groceries but bag them and offer to help me to the car as well. I found the aisles to be handicapped accessible and they have several battery operated scooters available. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were not only lower than several competitors but they still give fuel points with points given toward a fuel discount. Lastly the bathroom was tidy. I've been searching for an alternative to the big W and today I rediscovered my appreciation of good customer service and decent pricing. 4/5 given for a long wait at the deli. I'll be back!!!”
