They seem to have everything plant-related; so far I've bought a birch branch, potting mix, plastic saucers, and despite a self-imposed plant-buying moratorium, a Thanksgiving cactus. “My mom asked me if I wanted to go to the Winged Landscapes class at Idlewild & I said yes immediately! We love Idlewild & purchase plants from them each year. This was my first class I've attended at Idlewild and it was great! After the class we walked around & looked at the items for sale & even got to see some insects! I definitely recommend stopping in during their regular hours & checking out the shop, plants, & insects. They will announce via Facebook when their spring plant sales will start (sometime in April) & their butterfly bouquets will become available in May right before Mother's Day.”
“This was my second trip to Petals. I walk with a walker so I came through Digs (which has beautiful things), they were gracious enough to widen the isles for me and I made it to Petals. The saleswoman helped me pick out a very healthy beautiful pathos and a special ceramic pot for a birthday. She wrapped it up for me and carried it out to my car. I couldn't ask for better service or a more quality product. I will definitely be back.”

“I am a landscape contractor. I have been dealing with Crane Hardscape Supply who owns Louisville Mulch And Stone for over 30 years. They have the best mulch, one of the best assortments of decorative rock, a large selection of large stone, and gravel for hardscaping projects. The staff are extremely knowledgeable.”
“One of the things I love about this place is their incredible selection of really healthy plants. If you're looking for a specific plant, chances are they'll have it. Today, I went looking for a hard to find white peony. Bingo! They had dozens of different varieties, and had just what I needed. The only problem is that even when I visit for a specific plant I end up leaving with two or three others! On the bright side, once spring comes along, I don't have to buy my wife flowers!”

“Helpful, friendly, knowledgable, a resource for advice as well as top quality fish, plants, equipment and supplies. We are total novices who two years ago decided to dig a hole and fill it with fish. We bought two 5” Koi, waited a few weeks, then bought two more; one died (after many months, we don’t blame the store). The other 3 have thrived, rapidly growing to well over 12” in just those two years. A water lily I bought from them 4 years ago (my first purchase there) has been moved 3 times to 3 different ponds, indoors and out, and is still putting out blooms. Highly recommended.”

Instead of pointing me in the correct direction and wander around looking for help, Emma walked me to the area, helped me find the sales associate for that section, and also helped me look for the correct product. “I have a super small bathroom in a big house that I call all my own and remodeling. I have searched for months looking for a bathroom vanity, and finally I found what I wanted at Menards. I cannot remember the older gentleman/associate that helped me, but he went above and beyond helping me when it took a while making a choice. Everyone else were nice as well. I live in Oldham Co and drive to Preston Hwy for outstanding customer service. Although I live in the eastern part of the counties, I hate shopping out here because most retailers/associates judge you upon your looks. I may not be full of Botox and looking like I need to eat a burger, but I am nice. I work hard for my money, and I will avoid a business like the plague when they act judgemental and unprofessional. The you to everyone at Menards for making my shopping experience great!! ?”

We were greeted quickly and our return took only a couple of minutes. My husband wanted a trimmer for his Father's Day gift. He'd done his research and one was in the cart after another five minutes. While waiting for him I was impressed with their line of grills and smokers. We browsed their paint colors for awhile. They had many options and the cards were nicely organized for shoppers. We grabbed a few options to take home to view under our lights. Checkout was quick and easy. Gift cards were available near checkout, and for options beyond Home Depot.”
