“Friendly customer service and always willing to go out of their way to help me. Super nice people and knowledgeable about what I'm looking for. If it's not in stock, they see if they can order the item I need. This is rarely a concern, though, since they have a wide variety of products in store and online! Great place for me to come get supplements like electrolytes and energy gels. They often have great deals in store, which saves money on things I use.”

“I’ve been meaning to leave a review for this shop for a while now and just now getting to it! I highly recommend if you are in the local area of Louisville KY to slide through the shop. I started shopping with them years ago whenever I was picking up a new pair of vans here and there. Then began taking my son up there as he was interested in buying a skateboard and learning to skate. Neither my son or myself knew anything about skateboards and was greeted by Drew and Noah and they made my son feel comfortable from the beginning. The shop is in an awesome part of the city and has a true “home like” feel. (No pun intended) I love supporting these guys and have nothing but positive things to say about them. “You will not find low priced footwear here, however if you have unique specialized needs you can find quality shoes, sandals, boots, insoles and more. You will also get individualized attention and good service by knowledgeable employees. I have purchased footwear by Taos and Naot and have been pleased. The sandals and boots have support and appear to be well made.”

“Great shoes and boots was not asked by an employee asked where the old shoe store went. Then went and picked out my own shoes and boots. The employee handed us a coupon for buy one get one 50% off. So we did. Store is really nice and had some selection which could have been better for shoes and boots given it is a brand new store. There was no employee assistance to help you at all. So maybe more employee assistance. But overall very great store and excellent prices.”
“I had heard of Pix Shoes’ hat selection but never had an opportunity to shop there. My daughter was looking for a fascinator for Derby week. We were blown away by their selection. My daughter was very overwhelmed with all the fascinators on display but the lady working was so kind to her. She showed her all the options. She explained to her how to properly wear a fascinator. She customized one specifically for my daughter. This was such a great experience! My daughter was so happy with her purchase. I plan to return to get a hat for my husband and to look at their shoe selection.”

“Very personable place. So nostalgic! Hardwood floors great look inside. Just a vintage vibe. Solid sneaker selection in all sizes. Trade value was on point and the prices were right. I honestly thought prices were $100-$150 under market value when making a trade-in. I did not expect to get the deals I did. Seems to be a place for the ppl. The owner is very knowledgeable and fair. Resell sneaker prices can get out of hand at times, depending on supply and demand but The Capsule keeps it affordable. Thanks for the trades brother! I'll definitely be back. Oh and one last thing for all u knuckleheads out there in the sneaker game. Don't try nothing stupid at this place. It's a family owned business and all of em been in jiu-jitsu for yrs. “I cannot say enough great things about Sapphire on Spring Boutique . For one, my daughter found everything for her first prom there: dress, shoes, earrings ALL OF IT. One stop shop in that dept! But Angela (the owner) and I were talking about a piece I found online for Thurby but was in Australia and shipping was ridiculous. This girl nailed it! She is a wizard. She had a huge supply of crafted items on the floor but I didn't realize would customize something so particular. This is exactly what I wanted. So if you are in need of Derby season items or prom items don't skip this store! The staff is friendly, store is always clean and changing the inventory and has the cutest stuff!”
“I was born in 1941, making me 80 years old. When I was around 4 years old, like many children in the 1940’s, I contracted Polio. It affected my left leg muscles, my left ankle & toes, & made my left side shorter than my right.I managed to survive these issues, became a Pharmacist; working with constant back pain on my feet for 12 hours at a time.In the middle 1980’s hearing about Alan Kleinman and Living Shoes from an interview with the renowned character actor and singer, Burl Ives, who praised Alan Kleinman who had made many pairs of shoes for him.I made the journey from Owensboro, KY to Alan’s old location in Louisville, KY; had him make molds of both my feet; and make a pair of black shoes for me.My life changed forever. No more pain, no more out of balance; and even a little taller.Immediately we ordered a brown pair which I still have and wear after 36 to 40 years.I would still be wearing the black pair, but I lost them in 2005 in Hurricane Katrina when we lived in Mississippi. A church in Richmond, KY had another pair made for me while we were living there with our son. I still wear them 17 years later.It might seem that Living Shoes are expensive!However, when you consider the quality of the workmanship, longevity of the material, the fact that my shoes have been in service for 40 years, 23 years and 17 years speaks for itself. To be fair, they do have to have the soles replaced due to wear.Thank you, Alan Kleinman and your Living Shoes for making living more comfortable for me again.”

“Where we go to get all of our scrubs for our company. The people at the desk greet you when walk in. They will help if you need a certain color/size that isn't on the floor. The prices are not bad for scrubs. About average. But they have the BEST selection I have seen at scrubs at a store.”
