“This was my first time visiting and the Staff were great 👍. I used to wear them during the eighties when it was mainstream to wear and nineties when they became even more popular during urban fashion years. Presslers prices are in line I hope with other shops, ranging from $115 to $130 on select on sale boots, and prices on up to $500 or more for more crafted and name brand boots. They even have a selection of clothing and other fine ware to make the home or establishment have the western feel. I wanted to give them a four ⭐ rating because the western theme for parties is high and some people will never spend over $100 for shoes let alone western boots.My rating stands for now because I could find everything I looked for at one store.”

“Whew... where do I begin. Summary, born with a severe birth defect on both feet. 6 surgeries on both before age of 2 and one more on both at age 18. The bone fusion did not go as planned and now in my late 40s my big toe is raised and turned overlapping my 2nd and almost 3rd toes.
I just got a job requiring safety shoes. Stuffing these toes into a safety cap is damn near impossible without rubbing.
After 3 days of research and calling her DM for advise, Leah found me a boot and insert combo that has the rubbing of my toes down to basically ZERO.
The time, patience, and effort into getting my in something that doesnt feel like a cheese grater on my toe with every step, was 2nd to none.
Leah is a GODSEND in my situation. Customer Servive is dead these days but Bootworks went leaps and bounds beyond normal customer service for me and my situation. They have restored my faith in customer service. Again.

“I was born in 1941, making me 80 years old. When I was around 4 years old, like many children in the 1940’s, I contracted Polio. It affected my left leg muscles, my left ankle & toes, & made my left side shorter than my right.I managed to survive these issues, became a Pharmacist; working with constant back pain on my feet for 12 hours at a time.In the middle 1980’s hearing about Alan Kleinman and Living Shoes from an interview with the renowned character actor and singer, Burl Ives, who praised Alan Kleinman who had made many pairs of shoes for him.I made the journey from Owensboro, KY to Alan’s old location in Louisville, KY; had him make molds of both my feet; and make a pair of black shoes for me.My life changed forever. No more pain, no more out of balance; and even a little taller.Immediately we ordered a brown pair which I still have and wear after 36 to 40 years.I would still be wearing the black pair, but I lost them in 2005 in Hurricane Katrina when we lived in Mississippi. A church in Richmond, KY had another pair made for me while we were living there with our son. I still wear them 17 years later.It might seem that Living Shoes are expensive!However, when you consider the quality of the workmanship, longevity of the material, the fact that my shoes have been in service for 40 years, 23 years and 17 years speaks for itself. To be fair, they do have to have the soles replaced due to wear.Thank you, Alan Kleinman and your Living Shoes for making living more comfortable for me again.”

“After getting feet properly measured, I bought the measured size. One foot is smaller due to metatarsal surgery. I realized that by the end of 2nd day shoes wouldn't work out. I called the store and the problem was resolved. Good honest people to purchase from.”

I knew the big box chains would not have what she wanted so my sister suggested this SC location. It was well lit and orderly with enough seating for trying on shoes. “After striking out trying to find a pair of Johnston & Murphy oxfords in my size at one of the main stores in the mall, I realized that they had a stand-alone store in the mall. Upon walking in, I was quickly and warmly greeted by the salesman. After just a few seconds of discussion, he was pulling out precisely what I was looking for in 2 options and in my size. The salesman was incredibly courteous and attentive. He asked me about the standard upsales and add-ons that you expect from a high end shoe store to ensure that my newly acquired shoes were appropriately cared for.”
