“I was driving from Nashville to Columbus on a Friday and my alternator went out. We ended up at Schwarte’s after a recommendation from the Auto Zone nearby.When we pulled up to Schwarte’s our van died. It was about 6:00 on a Friday so they were closing up. I explained to them my situation, and they were very accommodating.They couldn’t get to my vehicle til Monday, but they got to it first thing and we were back on the road early that morning.When you have a family of 6 and your vehicle breaks down, it can be a pretty traumatic experience. The guys at the shop met me when I was in a dire situation and they treated us with respect and empathy.The price was much less than I anticipated and the quality of work was exceptional.I wish I could find a place like Schwarte’s where I live.Thankful for this shop and can’t recommend it enough!”

Staff has always kept things clean and are helpful if you run into problems. Propane tanks and tire air are available.”

“It was nice to be greeted with hello when you walk in to a place. Very nice people and the bathrooms are clean that's a big plus in my book. Especially when there is no where to stop for miles. The only problem I have with this store and alit of stores they have every other pop in a can but Dr Pepper. That really bothers me. The store and people was nice see you all soon.”

“According to my Map I'm actually writing a review for the gas pumps in front of UDF (United Dairy Farmer) at the corner of Anderson Ferry & River Road, apparently owned by Mobile Gas Company. Overall, the gas pumps have treated me well. They aren't much to look at but it's what's inside that counts. Some of the labels are missing on the self-pay pump buttons so I don't know what the heck I'm pushing and have to start over. Some pumps fill so slowly that I feel like I could spit in the tank and fill it faster. BUT, these pumps have two advantages over the Speedway pumps just up the road. First, no video screen pops up with a screaming sales guy that scares the heck out of me every time I turn around to pump gas. Therefore, I don't spill any gas! More importantly, the kind folks inside UDF graciously keep the lot lizards away from me. It's nice to pump gas without being asked for spare change! These gas pumps work hard for my money. I like them.”
