The owner and the son Moe seem to be good business men from my brief encounter with them. The black mechanic Jermaine is a good mechanic.
To test back brakes do this simple test how to check if back brakes are bad. Put the vehicle in neutral let vehicle roll and then put emergency brakes on. If it stop immediately nothing is wrong with brakes”

They dove right in and did everything just I had requested, even doing some things that I didn’t have to specify just because it was common sense, as it should be. “I am giving them 5 stars only because 10 stars is not an option. My car has an odd size tire and I usually have to order the tires and go back the next day to get them installed. Which is what I fully expected today.
I stopped in to inquire on a price for a full set. The gentleman made a call, then quoted me a price, that included mounting and balancing, that was lower than I typically pay for just the tires. Then said he could have them in 10 minutes. From that point it was only 20 minutes until I was back in my car rolling down the road with new tires. BIG Thanks to Express Tire Shop!! I'll definitely be back.”

“I had a blowout on a Saturday night. Not only an inconvenient time, but it was also my spare tire that blew because my back tire was in really bad shape and I was planning to get a new one Monday. I saw this place opened at 7 am Sunday, one of only a few tire shops open and this one opened the earliest. I called and a man quoted me $40 and I said “deal!” and was on my way. When I got there with my four year old, he told me we could sit in the car, which I was sort of thankful for because the neighborhood looked rough. But I’m from Brookstown so that wasn’t a huge deal to me lol. As he got ready to replace my tire, I asked how much the spare would be to replace, not planning to replace it the same day but sometime in the next few weeks. He thought for a second and told me he’d do $50 for both! $10 to replace my spare! I absolutely said yes and they had it done within 20 minutes. Super convenient, super friendly, definitely will be back. Note that they only take cash, but there is an atm inside.”

“Came this past weekend from out of town for the lsu game & I stopped at the gas station next door. As I was leaving my car decided to break down in the gas station lot, 4 of these very kind workers walked over and helped me figure out what was wrong with my car. Even though they were closing in 20 minutes they still went above and beyond to do the best they could to get me back on the road and managed to do so even without having the part to fix my car! We tried to offer them some money for the help and they refused all they wanted to hear was go tigers!! This place saved my vacation & my car made it the rest of the weekend & 6 hours home. “I was referred to Simpson' s by a guy at Advance Auto Parts in Denham to get my car inspected. He was EXTREMELY THOROUGH! I ended up with a 30 day rejection sticker but if I fix everything in the 30 days I will not have to pay another $18! At least I am legit all of the way now!”
“I couldn’t recommend this place more!!! I have gotten my tires patched other places and was charged $60. Here it was only $35. U also was told by another store they couldn’t patch my tire and would have to buy a new one. I brought it here and they easily patched it for me!! They were also the only place that had the tires I needed in stock. Everyone working there seemed super knowledgeable and they were very quick in doing the repairs. Safe to say, I will only be coming here in the future”
“This place has the most professional and knowledgeable staff and mechanics. I have been here few times for regular maintenance and they always offer a great price. I never have to worry if they make me pay for something not needed. Last time I had a flat tire and I first went to another place because it was nearby. This place (not Goodyear) tried to make me buy a new tire. This was a relatively new tire, I didn’t believe them and I drove straight to Goodyear. They repaired my tire at no cost and called my phone for pickup when ready. One of the guys even loaded the tire on my trunk. I was so impressed with their service. i will go back there for any service without hesitation. This is a very well deserved five star to the whole team. Thanks Guys.”
