This is another HI GEM within the IHG Family. The workout room was huge, immaculate, and luxurious feel to this hotel. Very little road noise. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Shout out to Ms. Anita. Breakfast was hot and fresh...all thanks to her.”

Michelle, Steven, Darris, and Dedrick met all of our expectations and went above and beyond to help our event run smoothly. “Great location downtown you can walk to several places. They also have a shuttle. The rooms are nicely appointed but very small. We lucked up on the Mardi Gras parade which was on the street in front of the hotel so you could head down to the street level or stay in your room and observe. I also loved the proximity to the river. There was a small convenience area where I purchased water and a full restaurant which I did not get a chance to visit. The hotel was pretty quiet. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice and attentive.”

“The hotel staff is super nice. Lyna was very welcoming and kind. The hotel was beautiful but room needed to possibly be deep cleaned and the tub was peeling. The carpet had stains that was slightly scary to see. Unsure if it could have been liquid or bodily fluids.Theres also plastic bags or something across the bedroom window. I just assume there’s some sort of construction going on. Outside of the room I did enjoy my stay. It was also nice seeing families enjoy the indoor pool.”

“Seeing some of the recent review made us a little nervous, but we kept our reservation and were so glad we did.
The room was spotless, service was friendly, and the lobby felt so welcoming.
We really enjoyed spending time in the pool and the hotel gym.
Lots of great food options close by and traffic isn’t terrible if you know how to avoid waiting at the light at Constitution and College Dr.”

“My girlfriend and I spent two nights at the Renaissance in Baton Rouge. We were very pleased with our accommodations. We enjoyed the firepits outside at night. The employees were extremely kind and helpful, especially Johnesia at the Front Desk. I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I’m in Baton Rouge.”

“Staff was absolutely excellent, the customer service was A+. The staff members represent their company well with friendliness, kindness, and concern that the guest needs and expectations are mer. Thank you Angela, Myesha, and the gentlemen who worked the 3pm until 11pm shift on 7/20/24. My rooms was clean roomy and confortable. I had a minor maintenance incident in first room and was immediately transferred to another room. I will definitely book here again. Thank you all again!”
