“Stayed here 3 weeks while working during Hurricane IDA. Owners are super helpful and friendly, went out of there way to find me a room when there were no rooms available within 50 miles. Staff is friendly and trustworthy. This is not a fancy motel but its safe and priced right.”

“While the room has some very minor cosmetic defects, overall the room looks nice and is clean and presentable. I really appreciate that the air conditioner unit works well and it’s easy to use. The staff is friendly. And if they even let me check in a little bit early when I arrived sooner than expected. The location is also very convenient.”

“I just stayed at this place (11/01-11/02), and it was perfectly fine. For what it cost ($75 for a single king), it was pretty great. Some of the issues mentioned in other reviews have been fixed, like the sliding door entrance, while others persisted (broken back door, all stairwell doors lacking any kind of quieting device), but any problems a person might have were mostly cosmetic and/or only really existed outside of the rooms.
I have zero complaints about my room. It smelled fresh and clean, all sheets and towels were clean, floor and countertops were free of dust, etc. The bathroom was also spotless. Again, there were cosmetic things like peeling paint in a corner but you won’t notice or care unless you are purposely looking for stuff like that.
My interactions with the front desk were brief but very efficient. Everyone was nice.
My ooooonly real complaint is that the beverage vending machines don’t take cards. The snack machine does, but neither of the two drink machines I saw did. But even still, you’re surrounded by no less than 5 clean, safe convenience stores that you can go pick up drinks from.”

“So, listen, This place is worn. I get it. Tired. BUT, they give daily room service. Who among any hotels gives daily service? No one. Breakfast is better than most. Decent little bacon egg and cheese biscuit. Affordable. Great rates. Want a new place?, go spend $200.00 a night. Want a decent bed, good breakfast and quiet place? Choose this one. Would I bring my wife here? Probably not. Would I put my crew up here? Yes.
They do have an early check out charge, so I'll not stay here in the future as our schedule is fluid most weeks.”

“I was a little surprised with this hotel. The bathroom had a moldy smell to it but everything else above the room was great. Breakfast was out of juice and out of eggs, so that did not start off my day very well. The service however, was fantastic, check-in was a breeze and very friendly. I love the location because it was close to my business meeting the next day. All in all, I would give this hotel another try.”
