“This is one of the best pharmacies we have ever used. It is small but more efficient and well organized. Prescriptions are filled rapidly and they communicate with you to manage expensive medications. They coordinate refills for you, recognize everyone and are always friendly. I am really not easy to please as a health care consumer, but this pharmacy staff exceeds my expectations! One of Ochsner’s hidden gems!!”

“My wife and I visited this Covington location on a weekday afternoon for a vaccine from the pharmacy. Although we had appointments, we had to wait long past our appointed time. I mention this simply because, while we waited, we observed a pharmacy staff of 6-7 (pharmacists, pharm techs, clerks, etc.) fighting an uphill battle to complete tasks and serve a flood of clients. To their credit, they performed with great efficiency and were respectful, helpful, and welcoming to all with whom they dealt. I was impressed. I have no pharmacy experience, but as a retired biomedical professional with an understanding of difficulties in the industry that have grown since the recent pandemic, I observed obvious staffing issues that must be addressed by management. I'm sure that duties have increased for all employees (especially for registered pharmacists!), but this does not excuse superhuman workloads. I hope that management will find original and equitable solutions to this issue.”

“Service was a little slow and I had to find someone to handle the photo/FedEx counter... maybe that's par for these places. I don't do pharmacy stores much, but I kind expect there to be service when I approach a counter. In the end I did get taken care of. Definitely had worse service elsewhere!”
