“We go about 10 mins out of our way to drive to this DG. It's so clean, things are organized, there's no clutter in the aisles. The employees are incredibly friendly and helpful - such as walking you to an item you are looking for, instead of just pointing or "I don't know."
It seems bigger than the DG nearer my house, but that one is always so cluttered and messy it's almost claustrophobic. I love being able to see the cute seasonal stuff on display together. You can tell the employees really care about their job, their store, and take pride in their work.
That's almost unheard of these days when it feels like a lot of customer-facing places really just don't care about the customers anymore. That's also why I'm taking the time to write this; it's so rare that it really stands out and should be praised.
I always leave this store with a smile. Highly recommend.”
“It's a good little convenience station. The food prepared, has always looked fresh; there are usually multiple options. It is a little pricer than options around, as in Leesville or Deridder; because this is what Rosepine has to offer as far as a lunch break, or another "on the go" or time related reason. But, as I saying, the food has always been very good.”

“I like this DG for the most part, very convenient location, and I usually find what I need. Re: milk, why do they only carry 1 brand now? There should be more than one option in that respect. They used to carry FairLife & Borden but now the only brand available is the store brand and I will not purchase it.”
“With exception of the unprofessional manager, Nancy Jo!!! I have been a very loyal and honest customer for several years going almost every day!! I've never caused a single problem and I have always got along with the staff with this single exception!! I'm almost 54 and I have many health issues! Every one of the staff has always been extremely helpful and kind until this 1 experience with I'm told...Nancy!! I had recently been to the hospital for a serious head injury from a fall and I am still experiencing difficulties because of this added to the rest of my health problems that causes multiple different disabilities from head to toe! Not long after the head injury (I have the ER paperwork for proof) I was going to purchase a few things, like always..I was sitting in the parking lot, in my car and I unexpectedly had some things happen and caused a delay in going inside the store. I had a couple of the customers ask me if I needed help and I told them I would be ok and I just needed a little time. I finally got to go inside, grab the 2-3 things I went for and of course I checked out and when I was going to my car I was met by a cop!! He ask me a few questions etc.. and then I was released! He told me that I was asked not to return to the store! First, it was because he said Nancy Jo said that I knocked or ran into something! Now, the story is because I feel asleep in my car! I'm so confused! I have had many apologies from the staff!!! It's not the point that there is a Dollar Store on every corner it's really a matter of wrong and right!! I basically only used this store for all of my needs! I've never stolen or caused any problems! I'm learning that nancy Jo is really working harder to get rid of good costumers than to encourage them to return!! . Facts!! The local community is also in an uproar so to speak and have taken thier business elsewhere! Btw, all other staff is quite pleasant! I really hope this one employee is worth all the business they are losing!”
