Well I picked up my Plate Tamper Yesterday and was very dissapointed, I signed a paper that said max spend would be $100.00, To explain when you drop equempment off for repairs they charge you $60.00 up front, so when I got the call about the repair Vincent (Teck) told me it would cost $122.00 and I said ok come to find out he didn't tell me that was on top of the $60.00 I already paid, Now its $182.00 They charged me $164.00 labor to change a governor spring, When I asked why it was so much the Teck went off on me saying he would just take the part off and give me my tamper back, I doubt I'll trust Northern Tool Again,,,
In all fairness after a bit of a scene they returned the $60.00 deposit,”

“I will say that Harbor Freight Tools is great for purchasing certain well built tools for a really great price. I’ve purchased many things over the years that are still being used on a daily basis. Like the Pittsburg 3 ton jack I purchased in the first month of that store opening. They do have many well built products at great prices even though there are a few items that aren’t so well built. But then again every store has those cheaply built tools that we learn to stay away from. Overall in my opinion I am thankful we have a store in our area and I will be shopping there for many years to come.”

“Normally, to find the equipment I Needed To Cook Larger Meals In, Like My 50 Gallon Cast Iron Pot, I Needed To Shop 2 Hours Away For.Not Anymore, I Live In Houma And The Thibodaux Store Had What I Needed.”
“The availability to rent an auger made the job immensely easier than it would have otherwise been by hand; actually, rather impossible really. Ran into a problem initially, which the staff remedied immediately.”
“On Monday I came up the back way from Boutte. I wasn't going to find that window for that money for very long. CS said that customers have been complaining about the delays with the construction going on with LA 20 south of Vacherie. I was told this was end of inventory which explained the low price and unavailablity elsewhere.
Please mark your site that this store is not a feasible option coming from Vacherie. LA 20 is impassable due to construction and the only other way to get there would be through Donaldsonville which is an hour out of the way in each direction. I came all the way up from LaPlace to pick up a Reliabuilt series 105 35-1/2 x 59-1/2" window, and Lowe's Thibodeaox and Houma are the only stores that have it in stock, otherwise $79 delivery, which I'm not willing to pay and ship-to-store not an option. I had to turn around in Vacherie because of standstill traffic on LA 20 and local gas stations suggested going to Gonzalez Lowe's, which doesn't have this window in stock. Therefore I cancelled the order. I imagine once this Lowe's and Houma Lowe's inventory on this window is depleted then $79 delivery will be the only option so it's not such a bargain priced window after all. The way through Donaldsonville is 92 miles from LaPlace as opposed to 37 miles through Vacherie. Until the construction is completed on LA 20 then Donaldsonville or Boutte are the only feasible routes to Thibodeaox.”
“Awesome store - you name it, they have it. It's all quality stuff too - Dewalt, Klein, Channel Lock, etc. Kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for. The staff is freindly and know what they're talking about too.”
“I love Lowe's. I just don't like the service at this Lowe's. You can never find anyone and if you do they either say it's not their department or they point you in wrong direction to find something instead of bringing you to find it.
On this day though I was Blessed to have this young man named Christian help me and he was wonderful!!! He helped me so much and was so pleasant to talk to and even helped me load my car. He deserves to be rewarded for his helpfulness.”
