When you’re on the run — in this case, an emergency road trip from Pensacola to DFW thanks to flight delays — and want minimal downtime on the drive, this place was an absolute 10/10 goldmine of a find.
It’s a local chain in this part of Louisiana, and after wanting something quick minus the chaotic fast-food-chain hoopla (that usually ends in regret and questionable life decisions), this stop checked every box we were hoping for.
We called our order in about 50 minutes out on IH-20, rolled in, paid, grabbed the food with almost no extra wait, and were right back on the corridor.
Gyros and a custom-built sandwich came with us — and were completely decimated before we hit the next stretch of highway. Not even crumbs survived.
Clearly a local favorite, and absolutely worth the stop if you want sensible grub that feels a whole lot better than the usual interstate fast-food roulette.
Definitely recommended if you’re traveling through the area and want a healthier, rewarding meal just slightly off the beaten fast-food path.
