Grocery Stores in Holden, LA

“A friend and I were on our way to pick up his wife from her daughter's house around 12-1 a.m. last weekend and knew we needed to stop somewhere on our way there to get gas so we could make the trip without running out. Unfortunately, we only had cash on us to pay for our gas, and every other store we passed by on the way there was closed. Thankfully, the Holden Supermarket Store stays open later on weekends, and we were able to get the gas we needed, fountain drinks, a small screwdriver set, and some CDB gummies. I took some extra time to walk around the store so I could check out all the neat goodies that they had for sale there. I found quite a few items that I would have purchased for myself if I had more cash on hand at the time. I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to the Holden Supermarket Store and I would suggest stopping by and checking it out. I wanted to make sure other people were aware that they stayed open late on weekends, a lot later than most stores in the general area, because I wasn't aware of this myself until last weekend.”

“Mr.John and the ladies that have been there for a while , are great! The store is usually organized and has what we need. We wish they could update it and turn it into one of the DG Market stores so that we won’t have to drive out to the next town to make groceries .

“Love our local store. It may not be the quickest if you are looking for in and out but the staff, management, and owners are top notch. You will find all the local school kids there working everyday. They care about our community.”
