“It’s a nice store. Attentive and friendly employees. But it’s not my cup of tea. Almost everything is made in China. I know that’s hard to get away from these days, but Home Goods takes it to a whole new level. Nevertheless, the Houma store is very nice, and well organized.”

“I give Ms. Ashleigh 5 stars! She has phenomenal customer service skills. It’s rare to see an employee doing so well under immense pressure from their leadership. I heard leadership reprimanding her for not yet taking her 15, while the line was completely full. She had very little backup with the line. Her level-headed and kind nature deserves recognition! She has the real skills of being in a leadership position.”
“Usually when I visit, the store is generally in stocking mode. In that regard, today was no different. There was one thing that really stuck an impressive chord with me today, however. Unlike the usual bland assistance, the young black lady who worked as cashier was exceptional. I observed her assist a few people who were ahead of me. She was very pleasant, patient and somewhat delightful. There have been times I've asked myself, "Why do you keep stopping here?" Well, today was the day, even though it was pouring rain outside; thanks to this young lady, the sun was shining brightly inside. Perhaps that's what I was waiting for. “Very wide selection of fishing products. If you're an avid fisherman, you can probably find what you need at this location in the Sportsman's Paradise of Louisiana. Great selection of life preservers. The food selection is extensive.”

Employees were friendly and were all hustling to put out merchandise and price items. The parking lot needs a pressure washing and clean up. Clearly this location is owned by a slum lord”
“This Dollar General is well-stocked and organized, perfect if you're heading to Cocodrie—it's one of two on your route.
They carry a bit of everything: groceries, hardware, drinks, snacks, and supplies.
The staff were friendly, and parking was hassle-free.”
“It's good, just need to get the cooler and self checkout's fixed, almost every 3 months the coolers go out and we have no groceries affordable on dularge, please check it. The workers are nice but some can use more training.”
“I recently went to this Walmart in search of Needohs. I asked a couple workers and none of them were very helpful until I asked a lady named Sunshine. She was so kind and helped us find them! They were not stocked yet and she found them in a box for us. She truly went the extra mile and is a wonderful employee!”
“I have always had a good experience at this location. The employees have always been friendly and I have even used the electronics counter to check out when an employee was about to go and check on their respective area. She helped me check out instead without a single reservation or hesitation and was even able to get the cost of an item when there wasn't a price tag on the item with the help of another employee! Tip for using the self-checkout - don't go around lunchtime, late morning on the weekends or right after work. The line is very long and you are better off just being patient at the regular cashier lines. If there is an item you want that you've seen at another Wal-mart and you don't want to purchase it on-line, you can go to Customer Service and make a request. They may be able to get that item at your local store if it is something that has a steady supply at another store. I go to this store every week, sometimes 2 - 3 times a week, so I am always scanning the store to see how it is doing based on my feedback. So far, so great!”
