219 S Main St, JenningsI just recently found this store. I would go to pet-co or pet-smart. He deals mostly in fish and reptiles. The owner, John, is patient, nice and helpful. The thing I love about this small store is that if he doesn't have it, he will try to order it for you. Try that at the big chain stores (their attitude is that if they don't carry it, buy something else). He has ordered quite a few things for me. I have only good things to say about this place.

Fontenot Animal Hospital
16361 LA-26, JenningsRecently i called Fontenot Animal Hospital for our 16 year old Shih-Tzu. She had been throwing up, was lethargic, and just wasn’t eating anything! Dr Anna Heinen checked her out and decided to keep her overnight to see if they can get her feeling better again! She ended up staying for about 4 nights. To no avail she just stopped eating. So we went to check on her , Dr Heinen ruled out everything else and came to the conclusion that she must have metastasis, from something she seen in an ex-ray the week before, soooo without an extensive exploratory surgery to find out for sure, she decided it was cancer. So with that we decided to put her down!
We waited until the next day, and the staff and Dr Heinen helped us put our precious Josie to rest! They did an awesome job to help try and get Josie better, and they genuinely cared for her. Thank you Dr Anna Heinen!!
